Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County is a nonprofit, Christian housing ministry that seeks to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope. Since 1997, Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County has built or renovated 38 houses throughout Douglas County and has performed two critical home repair projects, providing safe, decent and affordable housing for 157 people.
Our ReStore Grand Opening will be on May 1, 2014 at our 1211 N Nokomis NE location. The ReStore is a retail business that allows us to sell new and used building materials, furniture, appliances, and more to financially support our mission.
