Hacienda HealthCare is a highly diversified nonprofit health care system providing a wide range continuum of care for Arizona’s medically fragile and chronically ill infants, children and young adults, as well as those with developmental disabilities.
Established in 1967, the organization is vigilant in identifying the unmet health needs of Arizona’s developmentally disabled, and is quick to respond with innovative and effective programs. In fact, every health care and social service initiated by Hacienda HealthCare over the past 25 years continues on today.
With almost 650 employees and 18 locations throughout Arizona, Hacienda HealthCare’s comprehensive health care delivery system provides specialized care to more than 2,500 patients every single day, and regularly attracts families from far reaching states.
Hacienda HealthCare’s habilitation, restorative and long-term care programs and services are made available through one of four organizations, all of which are affiliated under Hacienda HealthCare as 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations*:
• Hacienda Inc. – Intermediate-level care facilities, programs and services for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
• Hacienda SNF Inc. – Skilled nursing facility and family support
• Los Niños Hospital Inc. – Subacute care and critical outpatient and in-home services
• Hacienda Children's Hospital Inc.* – 24-bed subacute care and critical outpatient hospital serving the East Valley
The close integration of programs and services available through Hacienda Inc., Hacienda SNF, Los Niños Hospital Inc. and Hacienda Children's Hospital Inc. enables Hacienda HealthCare to fully leverage the experience, talent and expertise of its providers, administrators and staff.
