I'm Sam. I saw Charles today and he did such a great job on my dreadlocks. At first I was worried that maybe he would do my hair the way he does all dreadlocks and we all know that Caucasian hair is slightly different.. but he did mine perfectly and I was worried about my hair being too tight. He was gentle and easy on my hair and it looks really good. I will be going back in a few weeks for sure. It's obvious that he knows exactly what he is doing and you can pick up on that the moment you walk inside and feel the vibe and also just the way he talks with you about your hair. He's a really cool dude and it surprised me a lot that he allowed me to drive off and get the money that I owed from the bank and return back to the store. I've never really seen someone trust like that so it said a lot about who he is and I was impressed with the whole experience today.

I have been going there 14yrs. Fine folks,can't go wrong going there. Best shop in Blount County.

So grateful to Miss Diva. This really made my granddaughter so happy. Her very first trip to a hairdresser and it was perfect. Look at that smile.

I've been going to Charles for about 6 years and I have NEVER been disappointed. He does good work and my hair is the longest and healthiest it has ever been in my life! He even sales his own product for dreads! My mother also has a natural style and when I showed her the moisturizing spray I got from Charles, she wanted some too! Thanks Charles! :

I had to go in to get my hair fixed by Charles. Another location gave me mediocre "dreadlocks", so I sought him out to do the job, and he did quite successfully. He told me what the other salon did wrong, what he would do and how to take care of my hair when it was done. He combed the crappy dread-esque things out, washed my hair 3 times, and gave me real dreadlocks. I have to say, his methods are different, but effective. The environment is really cool and laid back. It's a legit barbershop/beauty salon. I love the welcoming atmosphere. Charles is a really nice guy and charged a very respectable price for everything he did. It's only been 3 hours since I left, but I know that I'm going back and I'm happy to say that I have a place to go to where my hair will be taken care of. 11/15/13

Both of my sons go to Hairforce & have been going for years. Guaranteed you will not find anyone else that can do dreadlocks on Hairforce level!

Great Establishment. I've been getting my hair done here for about 11 yrs. If you in the Alcoa area and need your dreadlocks tightened up go see Charlie...he's the owner and a great person in general. You won't be disappointed .

I had moved to Tennessee from Oklahoma and needed a hair cut. Wasn't sure where to go, I saw the good reviews figured I would check them out. I am glad I did, I got the best haircut I have ever had. I will definitely be going back. When I walked in I was unsure at first because it was a black barbershop and I didn't know if they would want to deal with a white guy but they welcomed me and got me taken care of.

Tamir is my barber and always will be my big brother/barber/ therapist/ mentor if you've never been to hair force to get your dreads done by the legendary Charles or your haircut by the goat Tamir then your not giving yourself the self care you deserve

I drove by,noticed the place and tried to go in to get a simple haircut. The signs all said open,but when i tried the door it was locked. I knocked on the window and heard 2 employees inside,they laughed at my attempts to open the door. One was on the phone and told the person they were talking to "yeah,i'm at work." They were so close to the door i could hear them. So they mocked me,then selectively denied me service. I ended up going to garners barber shop. If i could rate lower i would. I'm not trolling. I legit heard employees inside and the website said they were open. There were at least 2 people inside. The owner is lying. And i won't be lowering myself to be embarrassed by this establishment again. Also,you call yourself Christian but that doesn't mean you are.
