The mission of the Haitian Health Foundation (HHF) is to improve the health and well-being of women, children, families and communities living in the greater Jérémie region through healthcare, education and community development.
The Haitian Health Foundation was established in 1985 to provide services for over 250,000 people in the Grand-Anse area of Haiti. HHF's services include primary health care and dental care delivery at our main clinic, community health education in the mountainous regions of the Grand'Anse area, sustainable development programs such as constructing houses, providing proper sanitation through the building and use of latrines and micro-flush toilets, and the distribution of goats and plants, allowing the Haitian people access to nutritional goods that they can grow, eat and sell. We also provide medical treatment and temporary housing to severely malnourished children and pregnant mothers at our Center of Hope. We fully believe that education is one of the keys to success and fully support the St. Pierre School, a K-9 school in Jérémie as well as paying tuition, books and uniforms for many children in other schools in the Jeremie region.
