It’s hard to be positive after losing your pet, but the couple who runs this place make it easier. I’ve taken two of my babies here after they passed and we were treated amazing. They show sympathy which is so important and the certificates and boxes were beautiful. I can’t recommend this place enough.
It would be nice if y'all expanded to more locations. Maybe north of Houston, one in the south, west, etc. It's sad how there are barely any actual pet cemeteries. If y'all could expand and have larger cemeteries that would be really helpful. The only other option is Bit of Heaven Pet Cemetery but their location is very small. Think about it guys, doing a gofundme of sorts is an option to as well to expand. If we can get local community leaders and news channels involved to expand efforts that would be awesome.
Not easy to write a review after having your pet aka fur baby be cremated, but this place deserves the write up and my time. Hale's were very polite, took me in on a very short notice. Very affordable and very professional. I got the ashes back in a nice wooden lock box with a nice card from Hale's very quickly. This place will definitely take care of your loved pet without any hassle in a timely manner which will help speed up the grieving process.
I have brought several of my animals here to be cremated. Sadly, I adopt only seniors and special needs, so they frequently are only with me for a couple of years. The owner and his family have always been nice and accommodating. I had three pass in a 3 month period 1 of cancer, one unknown and one from heartworm that was too advanced to treat effectively. So I was at their home almost every other week it seemed. They were understanding of my distress and didnt seem to judge my uncontrollable tears when I left them. The price is almost half of what most places charge. Another reviewer complained about the fact that they were put in a freezer and about the crematorium but what do you think your vet does until the crematorium picks them up? They freeze them. And while I did only see the crematorium once, and it was older..... it still does the job.
If I could I would give these people 10 stars they did an absolutely amazing job when I called to make sure which place it was. He was so understanding and helpful, considerate and just over all amazing. I believe I met his wife what an amazing woman and they did a really great job for me and my pet I will 10/10 recommend this place to any friends and or family.
Hale and his wife went out of their way late at night to help me with my precious old man of 16 yrs. They did a beautiful job and very affordable. He was sick for a couple weeks so I had time to shop around can't beat the price.
As far as the lady stating her pet would be put in a freezer until Mr. Platt can perform his services. What do you think a hospital or city morgue is going to do with your body until the funeral home comes for you. And even then the funeral home will store you in a freezer until they can take care of you. He provides a valuable service with much compassion.
Never, Never take your animal here. Dirty, pet crates thrown in a pile under an open metal awning, and one dirty freezer sitting outside in the yard. This is a private home, that a business is ran out of. The cremation furnace is small, rusted, and the bottom is falling out on the ground underneath. It is outside at the back of the lot. No way I was leaving my angel there to be put in as freezer, and burned with other animal ashes. I took her someplace nice. This place should be shut down, IT'S A Nightmare! Horrible Horrible Place.
We have brought four of our fur babies here for cremation for the past 4 years and Mr. Platt has always been very kind and serviceable.
Dale is a fabulous and compassionate individual. Per cremation has become a money machine but Hale's Half Acre is an exception
