If you walk your dogs at night, the police vehicles will keep driving by and shine those bright UFO lights on you. Can't even take a peaceful walk in the area without being harassed.
Just got profiled, harassed and searched by an undercover officer driving a red unmarked vehicle. Essentially because I was a white guy driving from a house in Paterson. Will be filing a formal complaint to potentially keep this loose cannon waiting to fire, off of the streets
Hello readers!. I have to say that I have been living in Haledon for six years, and the Haledon police has been doing a great job at protecting the town. Their response is fast and efficient to the issues that arise. I feel protected ans safe living in Haledon and I hope that the department continues doing the excellent job it has been doing.
For parking in a driveway of a person I'm visiting I got ticketed. I can understand the sidewalk but it's the person's driveway. Plus officer Bonilla was very disrespectful, condescending, and unprofessional. Also his partner who walked up to me while I was talking had his hand on his gun. No explanation and when asking questions he blew me off and walked away. I am A US Marine and soon to be Paterson Officer. I would never treat a calm and understanding human being this way. Disgraceful
Got insulated by an officer in haledon and then tried to provoke me to fight him so that he can get me on a charge. Too bad I didn't record this episode. Someone needs to take a close look at the people that work there before its too late
i called the police for help with a stolen phone and no one even tried to help there is barely any REAL crime in haledon they should be ashamed of themselves. had to solve the problem myself which I did peacefully and safely.
I Received A Ticket Yesterday On Memorial Day For Parking By My Parents House On Memorial Day Ofcourse On A Holiday How Low Can You Go Officer Celoski Really I Grew Up In That House I Have Been Living There Since I Was 11 And Now I Am 50 And It Is A Dead End There Is Not A No Parking Sign Even If I Was Parked In The Middle People People Have Been Parking In The Middle On The Side Doesn'tMatter For Years Before The Guido Family There Now That House Is Abandoned People Park There All The Time I Don"t Care That Your Not Picking On Me Congratulations To Me If Your Gonna Do Your Job Be Consistent And Do It Right Every Day Not Just On.The Days You Feel Like Be Consistent My Sister's Brother-in-law And My Husband's Friend Is A Paterson Detective Out Of Curiosity I Am Going To Show Them Where I Was Parked .Is It The New Cops The Dispatcher Was Very Nice And Said Maybe I Should Call It In When I See Other People Parked No You People Get Paid The Way U Found Me Find Others.People Are Paying Your Salary Tax Payers Money I Am Not Doing Your Job Yes I Can Come To Court And Bring At Least One Witness Who Has Parked Their And Not Gotten Ticketed I Am A Waitress I Still Loss Money Wether I Win Or Lose What Is The Police Academy Teaching ? I Do Have Freedom Of Speech Just Like Cops Can Choose Wether Or Not They Want To Give You A Ticket That Day Depending On Their Mood That Is Wrong If We Deserve A Ticket Ok Do It All The Time I Am On The Road So Many Times I See A Cop When They Want Not Just In Haledon Everywhere They Look.The Other Way If They Choose To Their Are Still Good Policeman Out Their Yes But The Younger Ones Are Not They Should Learn From.The Older Ones When To Be Tough And When Not To This Our Money I Have A Family So I Have To Pay $54.00 So Be It But So Should The Next Person.
The pub & steak house restaurant on belmont ave always has noise from music or their customers yelling outside and it is across from the haledon police station and nothing happens to eliminate the noise at least
illegal searches and stops. Corruption in a small town never last long though. And oh how quick you can go from a cop to a prisoner.
Horrible, car got towed and they made it near impossible to get it back. They don't work with their residents all.
