It all started when...
I met with a friend about raising money for our church. He looked at our budget and saw how many thousands of dollars we were going to be spending on items for the children's ministry. He showed me an auction house that purchases items from a big online retailer that I'm not going to name. Their business model is that when they ship something out, and for whatever reason you return it (damaged box, wrong color, etc.,) they cash in the insurance policy they purchased when they shipped it to you in order to send you a new one. Then they auction off their overstock inventory.
Well after buying what we needed for the church, I noticed pallets and pallets of treadmills and other fitness equipment. You can imagine that fitness equipment normally doesn't ship well. We struck up a deal and the rest is history.
