The Halfmoon-Waterford Fire District is a progressive 100% Volunteer Fire Department that offers the highest quality of training to its members, and the latest technology in firefighting, gear, and apparatus.
We pride ourselves in offering only the highest level of service and response to the public in our district and to our neighboring districts.
Our department is led by Chief Brian P. Boudreau, Deputy Chief Frederick R. Gaudette Jr., and Assistant Chief Jeremy W. Connors. Each Chief has come to their positions with many years of service, advanced training, and a variety of professional backgrounds that offer unique leadership styles. These Chief Officers have continued to enable our Fire Department to achieve our Mission and Goals. We respond to approximately 600 +/- incidents every year. Our response includes Fire, Rescue, and EMS protecting our 14,000+ residents in our growing community.
We Operate out of two stations that protect a primarily residential area. Station #1 is located on Middletown Road and Station #2 is located on 4 & 32 (Hudson River Road).
We are always looking for new members to help us complete our mission. We as a department and you as the public can benefit from your volunteerism. Join your neighbors in keeping your town safe.
