I felt coming in as a new patient that I did not receive the best care possible. I waited 2 months to get into see Dr. Greenblum for an issue that I had been to the ER for several times. Then, his nurse had a horrible attitude. I'm told that he wants to start a care plan for me but refused to sign any FMLA forms that I was asked to have turned in. Also, when Dr Greenblum told me what he believes my problem is he told me that i could google what it was and did not take time to explain anything to me. As I waited at the front desk for the receptionist to return, I could hear him talking about me because he thought I was gone. He was making it seem like I was making a big deal out of something minor. .The dr diagnosed me without even running any tests and just totally shot me down. Not not to mention every appointment is 2 months out. I will never return.
I do not know how I did not read the reviews before going with my daughter to this place. Dr Greenblum is the most UNPROFESSIONAL doctor I've ever met in my entire life. He said that he does not believe that my daughter has the pain she is staying and he believes is not related to her ovarian cyst. Ok, I trust your judgement but "what do you think it can be?" his response was "You will have to figure that out", then he complain 17 thousand times about my insurance, he said he wants to check her in 3 months, just pain management meaning ibuprofen every single day she has pain, no matter the long term risks in the meantime. I had to pull out the last ultrasound, I have to tell him she is not having her period, I have to tell him the type of pain because he NEVER ASKED ANYTHING.
My actual appt with Dr Jesse Greenblum wasn't as bad as a lot of other reviews said, however I have issue with how they handle things. I had an ultrasound on August 18th, the results were in August 19th as I was able to see them on the radiologist website. I never received any calls or messages about my results until it was LITERALLY 3 WEEKS past and I had to message them on the halifax portal to Inquire about the results. Took 4 days for a response there which just said negative...uh ok that's informative. Now today, September 15th almost an entire month since my results were in I got a call from a nurse with results. After waiting 25 mins on hold, the receptionist answered and read me what the results were. Did not even speak to a nurse, a non medical receptionist told me the results, while laughing and said..negative. which doesn't explain anything that the actual report from the radiologist said. Pretty disappointing to be treated like this as a patient.
Compared to the doctor/ob office I used throughout my first pregnancy, this place by far surpasses them in professionalism and efficiency. The staff is friendly and quick and made the start up process so easy. They got me an appointment quickly, and when it came time for said appointment, they got me signed up and into the back much quicker than any other doctor’s office I’ve experienced. I love 30 minutes away and while there’s a doctor I could go to 5 minutes from my house, this particular office makes the drive worth it. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough and am extremely grateful to have found them.
Dr Greenblum was my doctor during my first pregnancy twins He was very aggressive when doing checkups, I was terrified every time I went because of how bad he hurt me.He’s also very nonchalant and careless. The nurse was a little helpful but her presence also seemed nonchalant. I would not recommend this place simply because the doctor is not helpful at all he does the bare minimum for his patients. Just enough to receive a check! I would listen to my advice and choose someone who’s in it for the patients NOT the money.
Walking in the office/ waiting area smelt fresh very clean, even though there were repair men working on fixing the air conditioning. The waiting area was not crowded at all, seating was comfortable. I did show up about 30mins prior to scheduled appointment time due to being a new patient and I was unsure of exactly how much new patient paper work would be required of me to fill out. Surprisingly the paper work was very minimal and was brought back even before scheduled appointment time. The staff was friendly and helpful, the provider was smiling which made me feel comfortable and calm, even shared a joke breaking the ice. I also was able to have my 1st Ultrasound that very same day, and the Ultrasound tech was super nice and informative. Over all I'm in love with this facility and would recommend their care to anyone
I had a good experience at Halifax Health - Care for Women. The office was always nice and clean. The doctor, nurses and staff were friendly, yet professional and very thorough. I'm very thankful that I was able to be seen by Dr Greenblum. I truly feel that had I gotten any other doctor my precious daughter would not be here today. After two previous pregnancy losses due to cervical issues, I wasn't even expected to make it to 24 weeks gestation; with the help of Dr. Greenblum, I made it FULL TERM, and gave birth to a healthy baby. A few months prior to starting my care at Halifax Care for Women, I had lost my son at 21 weeks and 5 days gestation and I was scared to death of reliving that horror with my daughter. Dr Greenblum was kind and compassionate and showed real interest in helping me make as far as I could. I did regular cervical checks, ultrasounds, bedrest among other interventions that Dr Greenblum saw neccessary. He is well experienced and knowledgeable, so I was always able to talk to him and get my problems resolved. Overall I had a great experience with this excellent doctor; it was like dealing with a trusted family member. Every decision he took was carefully weighed and I knew he truly cared about the wellbeing of myself and my daughter. I cannot give Dr Greenblum all the stars that he truly deserves. I really felt that I got the best possible treatment at this facility. I would never considered going anywhere else should I get pregnant again!
If I could give zero stars I would .... Ladies, please please do not waste your time at this doctor office! Find someone that actually cares about YOU & YOUR baby’s health. When I first met Dr. Greenblum , he walked into the room with a nurse ,silent as could be ... didn’t introduce himself what so ever.. didn’t even tell me he was the one that was going to be my doctor! All he said was put your legs up right here and slide down & begin to do a Pap smear very aggressive.. went to his computer and started typing. This is my FIRST pregnancy and I am pregnant with TWINS! I asked him several questions & he completely ignored me and stayed typing on his computer, The nurse finally jumped in and started answering my questions because he would not answer what so ever she was embarrassed & apologized for his actions. She said “ I’m sorry he has had quite the day “ . My next appt, he said I was spilling a little sugar in my urine & Keaton’s. I had no clue what this was and what was going to happen. He was not helpful one bit. Didn’t even explain to me at all what this was. I left the office clueless. I Had to go to google & search for answers. I then got into a car accident, someone hit me from behind going 35 mph while I was at a redlight turning , I was bleeding & cramping so I went to the hospital & they gave me an ultrasound. The hospital told me it was very important to follow up within a couple days with my OBGYN TO DO A detailed ultrasound because they couldn’t look at everything? So I called Dr. Greenblums office and they REFUSED to see me!!!!! They said they were 4-5 weeks backed up & I would have to wait over a month to be seen!!!!!!! I was not happy about that , I WAITED 33 days to be seen, when I got to the doctors , they didn’t have me scheduled for an ultrasound!!!!!!!!!! All they did was the basics.... weight , blood pressure & temperature & LISTENED FOR HEARTBEATS FOR BOTH OF MY BABIES. I begged them to do an ultrasound , told them I waited 33 days for this & that I got into a car wreck.... I was crying horribly because I felt like I was being neglected. When I left that day, I started calling around to other doctors to switch. I couldn’t find anyone that would take me either because of my insurance , or I was to far along or because I was a “little” to high risk for them... so I stayed with Dr.Greenblum. When I went to call to schedule my next appt. I got yelled at by the front desk lady telling me I am no longer with them, that another doctor requested your files and that we don’t need to take you back & how I can drop you at any time if you ever do that again... or ever miss an appt with us again without canceling 3 days ahead??? So now , Every time I call them the lady is very rude & Dr. Greenblum refuses to talk to me , he will only rely messages to me thru the front desk lady... There is so many other things that I can’t even begin to tell you about this office. So in my opinion, this whole ENTIRE office should be shut down. The staff is extremely rude and will not do their jobs correct. I will never ever come back to this office again IN MY LIFE & will never recommend anyone here. It’s just sad that they can treat a 23 year old first time mom that is having TWINS this way and not even feel any remorse what so ever. Mommies that are expecting , Please PLEASE go to someone that is going to give you the best care possible. PLEASE! I don’t want to see you go thru what I have experienced here.
Saw Dr. Greenblaum and have no plans on returning. When I found out I was pregnant, I started searching for an OB/GYN affiliated to Halifax since I have heard very good things about their NICU. When I came across Care for Women I figured it was a great fit since they were directly linked to Halifax. Big mistake! The nurse was very sweet and I cannot say enough about how kind she was. The computers were down and though she was frazzled she laughed and made light about it. I liked her and I felt really good about my decision to come here. When it was time for Dr. Greenblaum to see me, I sat waiting for about 10 minutes and then I got a knock on the door and a man comes halfway through and then says “wait wait wait!” And then slammed the door! it was so weird and I thought maybe this was not the doctor and he was going into a different patients room. A few minutes later the nurse comes in, and the same man follows behind. He never says hello he never tells me his name he simply tells me to put my legs in the stirrups and move down and then proceeds to very aggressively do a Pap smear. It happened so fast and I felt so uncomfortable. Afterwords he sat at the computer with his back facing me, never once made eye contact never once asked if I had any questions or anything … He just sat there typing. The nurse explained that I have severe anemia and he never once addressed that, he just continued typing. I finally said to him that I felt concerned about having a baby at my age and what were his thoughts, he turned in his chair looking me up and down and said “eh you’ll be fine.” Nothing more. When I asked about prenatal vitamins he simply said go to Walmart and pick them up. There was no consults, there were no warm words, there was no advice, there was just silence and then told me to go to the front desk to make my next appointment. This is my fourth child and I have never seen a doctor act so uncaring. I strongly advise if your insurance gives you other options, pass this place by. This is not the kind of Doctor that should be handling such a delicate time of your life.
Today's appointment I was scheduled to see Dr Stanley about having my tubes tied. When they called to confirm the appointment, they told me to make sure I was on time because Dr Stanley will reschedule the appointment if I was 5 minutes late. I got to the office at 12:20pm. Sat in the lobby til 1:10pm. The nurse went thru the check-in procedure and told me the doctor will be in soon. The midwife I saw during my pregnancy came in at 1:40p to tell me that the doctor will be with me soon. at 1:45p Dr Stanley still had not acknowledged so I left and rescheduled the appointment. Whoever is incharge of sending out the email reminders, resent the reminder email for today's 2 minutes after I had left the office and 47 minutes after the intended scheduled time!!! The crappy part is this doctor is the only person available to do this procedure thru Care for Women and is only at the Ormond Beach office on Mondays and they refused to let me reschedule the appointment that was not conceivable for me. Now i get to go thru the whole song and dance again in 2 weeks
