Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building is currently programmed with instructional and leisure classes and performances by the Town of Apex Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. Staff also oversees the rental of the venue for weddings, receptions and other private events. The main floor boasts art galleries and the second floor a 135 seat auditorium. While square footage has been added, most historically significant architectural features have been restored and preserved.
The Town of Apex Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department offers a variety of passive and active leisure opportunities to Apex Citizens and residents of Southwestern Wake County.
