We are a public library that serves the community of Haltom City.

Mission

Haltom City Public Library serves as a vital community center that strives to provide free access to all information for all people.

Products

We offer for check out:
*Print materials (books and periodicals), electronic formatted books, audio books (CD and MP3), visual materials (DVD and VHS).
*We also offer over 40 computer stations for public use as well as free Wi-Fi for your laptop or tablet.
*We host a Java Joe's coffee station for your enjoyment (beverages are .85-$1.00 per cup)
*The library offers many cozy and quiet places to read or study
*Three study rooms are available
*Meeting rooms are available for rental (contact Becky, Administrative Assistant at 817-222-7790)
*We conduct a variety of programming for your education and enjoyment

Love the atmosphere and the fun, learning opportunities here! Great for kids, teens, and adults. They have a friendly and helpful staff.
I really love this sweet little library!! It's not too big, just a great size. The librarians are always very friendly and helpful. I went in to print a document and struggled to get it done. They helped me and we finally got it done. No one will be disappointed with anything here! Spend an afternoon and see what all it has to offer.
I love Haltom library, they have the nicest staff ever! They are always willing to help you. The library offers lots of great programs for all different ages and that's one of the things I love most about them. I'm looking forward to taking advantage of all the events that are being offered this summer. If you haven't been over there yet encourage you to not wait any longer! See you at the library!

As great as Haltom City library used to be. It seems to be going downhill. Each time I visit there's always something wrong with the computers not working. Printer has been non functioning for months now. Figured it would be fixed by now. Until they fix these issues I will only give it 1 star for failing to keep up with these problems.
Love this library. I love that they auto renew for you twice my old library didn't do that. Life gets busy!
Very Clean Facility , Despite The Train Noise It’s Very Quiet . Library Staff Is Very Friendly , Just Wished They Would Have Arthors Names
Staff is very kind. That is a very good feature for a library to have. It's quiet but not strict. Your children may make noise, but may not scream. They even have events daily, and weekly for children, teens, and even adults! I very much recommend this place to anyone. I go here because of the wide variety of books, movies, and music. And it is a safe place for anyone to relax and hang out. They also have 4 study rooms that are majorly sound-proof. That k for your time and I'll catch yall on the flipside.
Nice local library. Nonetheless, if you tend to study here, you will be disturbed by some not-too-far trains' noise. Some people talk to loud despite library rules. Staff didn't take action when they notice it.
Love the library and their bi-annual flea for all event. Nice location, walking space and event for the community
