I recently lost a loved one. It was a very difficult experience but Tim and Casey’s compassion and care made a huge difference in mine and my children’s lives! Our children were shown so much love and care. All of them including, Tim, Casey, and Brenda were so warm and welcoming, and offered comfort during our greatest time of need. The level of professionalism was also wonderful, the facility beautiful, and staff were experienced in working with grief. No one ever wants to be in a position of loss, but if you are seeking a funeral home with a beautiful space and warm, lovely people, this is the place to be! Tim and Casey were beyond wonderful as well as the two assistants we worked with, Lisa and Brenda!! My family and I had the unfortunate event of dealing with 2 unexpected funerals in less than 30 days of each other. For both events, they were extremely compassionate, very organized with paperwork and even had a cool red bag to keep it all together! They truly cared for us as if we were family! The facility was one of the most beautiful facilities to hold a funeral in and they honored our wishes exactly how we asked. We LOVE Casey and her crew, they were very kind and thoughtful and made the experience of losing our mother bearable. We had a wonderful service, the kind of service that our mother wanted and more with a wonderful luncheon afterwards, we weren't rushed at all and we could visit with family and friends : I highly recommend Halverson-Taylor funeral home for your loved ones who have passed and gone home to Jesus..
What is wrong with these people? Running a funeral home should be the very act of compassion, helping people through some of the toughest moments in their lives. Yet they knowingly purchased a building housing the only homeless center within 6 counties, and apparently are working very hard to chase them including families with children out, locking the bathrooms, shutting off access to water during the coldest stretch of the coldest winter and telling them to walk 3 blocks ro a gas station. Heartless. Will never use this business.
If you are on a budget and want to bury your love ones cremated remaines I'm sorry for your loss I'd recommend looking at Amazon by dad bought urn and vault for 75.00 he didn't have much money thank you
They knowingly bought the old Presbyterian church with a homeless shelter already as tenants and decided that they would make an already difficult situation for these families worse by denying them restroom use. So much for compassion. Isn't that what they're supposed to be...compassionate? I guess that's only for the dead. Homeless people arent deserving.
Very caring and professional staff, through the whole process of caring for our loving family member. They made our family fill like there own. Thank you for everything that you and your wife did for our family.
