This library was renovated in 2014. There is ample sitting and tables inside the building also has AC. There is even a little area outside. The library has a broad amount of books to look through and read. The staff there are nice. The parking is in the back.
Wow! I haven’t been here in ages. I used to come when I was a kid and then I moved out of the area for many years. I stopped in to see if a book I wanted to read was available and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t realize there was a huge addition put onto the back of the building. Also the entrance is on union street and not at the front of the building anymore. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were happy to answer questions and help me find what I was looking for. This is a good sized library with all kinds of resources and programs for all members of the community. There were a lot of movies and music you could rent out as well as books. And I learned that you can return your books to any Erie County Library. The space feels fun and inviting. There was a huge tree made of books, decorations for St. Patrick’s day and cute book characters in the children’s area. When I was there it was quiet and would have been a great spot to get work done or read. Staff are all wearing masks and guests must do the same. It was very clean and the environment felt safe to be in.
This place has been a favorite since childhood. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about this library. It is one of the bigger branches of the Buffalo & Erie County library system.
Super cute library with an even cuter Café. They have a nice area with tables if you're going there to do schoolwork. Only downfall is I'm pretty sure this is the loudest library I've ever been in. Hard to concentrate on your work with kids yelling, workers conversing loudly, and patrons having loud conversations as if we're in Tim Hortons. I'll be finding a new place to do my work from now on.
It’s good peaceful library place read have time to yourself., as for one star review I read said about kids being noisy and loud what you except kids will be kids not all kids know how to behave in public places blame parents for not teaching them and disciplining them for misbehaving in public can’t do nothing for baby’s but older kids should know better from parents generation of millennials they have differ ways teaching there kids now from parents in 70 and 80 kids and adults go on there cell phones in movie theater you know how distracting that is see cell phone light in dark theater room millennials of this generation act like they can’t live with out there cell phones for 3 hours people don’t realize they are salve to there own cellphones need go on cellphone when movie is playing in theater be respectful to other people turn phone off in theater blame kids for being loud and noisy in library blame this younger generation of millennials as parents., Woman glasses blonde or brunette works there she’s not friendly respectful but she is friendly respectful to coworkers and people volunteer there such as Red Cross for example I said few words to her you go ahead first stand there waiting for me exit room she says nothing I’m suppose to read mind.
Friendly, helpful knowledgeable staff!! Handled my challenge with skilled acumen. Beautiful atmosphere! So inviting, I wanted to read every book I could see. Nicely done Hamburg!
One of our favorite libraries to go to. They have very friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Visited with my 3 year old. Staff is so very helpful and friendly. There are little activities in the kid section for my toddler. Thank you.
Very friendly staff. Love the large assortment of books to choose from. Many people were using the computers. Kids were having fun. Large assortment of DVD to choose from as well. It was busy on Saturdays. Love going to this library.
Super cute library that always has an event happening. For Valentine's Day they did blind date with a book and it was the cutest thing. I ended up getting a book I really liked! The staff is always so friendly and the book selection is healthy. The cafe inside is delicious and has so many options for a library cafe. I love coming here!
