Hamburg Family Fun Fest is at this park every year! Great event. My only complaint is through out the festival which is 5 days they let porta johns pretty much fill up which results in people using the woods. The park itself is a great place for baseball and soccer games, for families to walk trails , play on play structures and picnic. It is also pet friendly.
Turf field looks great. Grass field has some major holes that become puddles in rain. The grass field is not accessible to spectators with mobility issues.
Great 18 hole disc golf course. Clear directions, fun open and a overall great course with moderate to low skill required
Always well kept and a great place to play dics golf or sled in the winter. They take amazing care of the grass on the soccer fields and keep the trails in great conditions. Good place to walk dogs on the trail or back into the woods.
The baseball fields are nice and well kept. The fields we played on all had nice shade so we weren’t baking in the sun during those summer ball games. One thing to note, some of the diamonds have bleachers, but most do not - so bring your chairs.
Beautiful facility. The farthest field needs its own portajohn! The guy with the golfcart should have toilet paper on his cart & someone should check the johns hourly, as they were all running out regularly. Restrooms: They need more of them & need to have supplies for them readily available.
We live in Hamburg Township and I take our 2 small dogs here every chance I get. It’s a great short walk to the river and the pups love it here. It’s an excellent way to spend an hour or so outside with your furry friends.
Nice area to walk on paved path. Not much shade. Nice athletic fields.
I totally love the workout equipment. Such a rare find. I love being outdoors and to be able to workout like this is a real treat. And then going for a sweet walk. Very cool. Even in the snow and frigid cold.
Home of the Gulch Disc Golf Course. Very clean in general. Large lots. Hosts giant events for soccer, which can leave the non-soccer folk quite overwhelmed. Porta-Johns on site, usually pretty clean. Some play areas available, good paths for walking. Disc golf course is very fun.
