Hamilton County Justice Center

Had reservations for a 90 day staycation but they made me leave after just 55 days. I came in with my pet gerbil but after the detailed cavity search they found it. So call ahead to make sure pets are allowed.

Well... for starters it is a jail. So don’t go in expecting much. As an other side of the plexiglass visitor, there’s much to be desired. The visit times are short and hells waiting room could use a clean and an update. The visiting system could do with a logistics update. Would definitely rather not have to visit, but that’s up to my criminal not me.

Great views, centrally located, and all inclusive. Front desk is difficult to deal with sometimes. Seems like they don’t want to let you leave to see all the city has to offer!?

The Sheriff's on and off duty are very helpful and pleasant so never be afraid to ask for their help.

They have released my friend’s abuser 2 times now in the time span of 2 weeks. This man has over 40 charged since 2000. The first time they released him, he went back to her house and beat her in-front of their 2 year old daughter again. Last week. Now they’ve released him AGAIN with no ankle monitor. It’s on THEM when she gets killed. We are appalled that the Montgomery city police and Hamilton county jail are so ignorant and complacent with domestic violence. As long as you get your bail money, right?

The a/c worked, it was 95 degrees that day....Went for background check, $32 cash only. Didn't have to wait long, on a Wednesday ....

Came down for a 2 night stay once. It was dirty, cold and loud. Lights were on when you try to sleep and they get you up super early for court. Food is awful but I didnt have a problem with the COs but I didn't give the reason to give me a problem either. This place is no fun

Some great views of the city unless your one of the unlucky ones with no window. The guests very from nice, quiet and polite to angry, loud and psychotic. Sometimes you'll have to share a room with a stranger.."stranger danger anyone" The staff doesn't keep up with cleanliness because for the most part it's filthy. The food is all soy based food and it tastes like Pooh because they are constantly getting new cooks and the food doesn't fill you up.

We just there to get finger printed for work.

I wanna say first that i understand that jail isnt supposed to be a good time and that your supposed to get out and say ill never go back... But common sense will tell you that not everyone in there is guilty and some are just waiting on court dates because they couldnt bond out for whatever reason. So maybe they could clean it up so its not so nasty!
