I thought I had already written a review but I guess not! We’ve been coming here since my son was born, he’s now 3 and we love it. Dr. Ball is amazing. She is so understanding, so knowledgeable, and so caring! We love her. All the nurses are so nice & gentle! We will always recommend this to friends & family. Edit: I just read all the negative reviews & I have to say…DON’T LET THEM SCARE YOU AWAY!! This office is clean, the staff has always been very kind, caring, and understanding. Anyone that has said otherwise probably didn’t receive what they thought their child needed. Plain & simple! You have to TRUST your doctors. Trust that they know, after years and years of medical school, what they’re talking about! I am so disappointed in the negative reviews as I feel they are totally unnecessary and unhappy people trying to bring others down!
Great experience! The doctor here is very knowledgeable and thorough. Staff is always pleasant and the MAs really try to get to know you. They always go above and beyond for us. Love this place and highly recommend! Update: would like to add that I just took my newborn here for her first check up and everyone was so efficient and detailed. Even as a seasoned mom I have lots of questions and Dr Ball was very patient and caring!
My grandson's been going there since age 3. At age 5 he was put on medication for ADHD. No one informed me that his doctor was going on a maternity leave, now my grandson has been without his medication for 4 days . No one but doctor Ball in that office can write medication for these kids with ADHD. It's a little crazy that I have had him going there for 6 years and now I'm have to find him another doctor, because NOT ONE PERSON THERE CARES THAT MY GRANDSON IS HAVING A HARD TIME WITHOUT HIS MEDICATION.
Just found out my daughter was discharged due to not being vaccinated. Bc I asked for them to be seperated instead of mixed. I was told that they couldn't, jokes on them in medical field and you can seperate them bc of allergies this is common. But just know you will be forced to get vaccinated no matter what your wants are.
I cannot say enough good things about this practice. The care and attention we have received for my son has been excellent. As a new mom, I always leave feeling confident in the care and decisions made by the nurses and NP's at this practice. They go above the call of basic care to make sure that my child is reaching milestones and that my husband and I are knowledgeable in raising our son. I wouldn't go anywhere else, and I highly recommend bringing your children here.
Excellent experience! I brought my newborn son to HMP in August, and he and I were both treated with the utmost care. The nurses and NPs were all so friendly, and took the time to care for my son like he was their own. I have continued taking my son there for all of his milestone appointments because of the first-class care he receives every time. I would definitely recommend for any parents looking for great care for their children.
The receptionist at front desk with the blonde hair is very rude. On my first visit I thought that maybe she was having a bad day however today when I greeted her and the other lady that was behind the desk they both originally did not even speak. Once I spoke again and said good morning the other lady did speak to me however the receptionist with the blonde hair that is in the very front she did not speak she looked directly at me and still refused to even acknowledge that I was standing in front of her. She made me feel very uncomfortable and very unwelcome as a receptionist it is your duty and your job to greet the patrons of that business and she made it very clear that I was not welcomed. The lady with the blonde hair then goes to ask do you have your Medicaid card and I asked her excuse me why would you assume that I have Medicaid. She did not ask man what type of insurance do you have or anything like that she just automatically assumes that I will be on Medicaid how rude and disgusting. I am not leaving this practice due to the care I received from nurse practitioner Taylor Daniel I am leaving this practice due to the fact of the receptionist attitude towards me and that anywhere I go I need to feel welcome and wanted and safe for my child to also go there. This unwelcoming behavior is absolutely unbecoming of health care practice and should be discussed with her immediately or else you will lose countless of patients due to her nasty and rude behavior.
My son has literally been since in their office since he was 3 days old. I would not take him anywhere else. Taylor is amazing with him. She interacts with him and remembers things about him. Yes I know they write it down but it still feels better that he does not seem like a number. The front desk staff is so efficient. I always get my appointments when I need them and they understand that as a first time mom, I called and asked a ton of questions. They helped my diagnose constipation for him over the phone, Tylenol dosages, you name it. They are always so helpful and wonderful. My nephews go there too which is how I knew about them. I drive from Nicholson 45 minutes to make sure they see him.
We've been going to this office for 11 years and don't plan to leave. On many occasions the staff has worked us in for a sick visit. Dr. Thomson has taken time out of his weekend to come check on my sick kids for himself. The first time being when my 9mo old had RSV and the second time being when my daughter was days old and not behaving normal. We love this office! I will say, it's a small office of one doctor and several nurse practitioners.
I called today and was told they aren't accepting patients over 5 years of age. How convenient that they only see the easy age groups that can bring in money for years to come and leave a whole generation of teen children without the care they need.
