This is a great park for just about anyone. Lots of open spaces and plenty of parking,portable restrooms,baseball fields, shelter house, gazebo and Big Walnut Creek runs alongside it.
Huge well kept park. We went to shoot off rockets. There is fishing on the river and a good sized playground. A shelter house, a gazebo, and ofcourse all the sports. Soccer fields and baseball diamonds.
Great spot for launching off in your kayak! Plenty of parking and a nice launching spot on the bank
Needs more shelter to be able to eat at or just to be able to get away from the sun but yes it is a beautiful place need to finish construction they are working on be nice if it had a deck to walk out on the water to see the fish and birds out there by the bridge
I grew up around this park. I have seen it go through about every change over the years. Very family friendly and pet friendly. Kids playground and a boat launch area and walking path.
The park is large and has a lot of activities for children. Personally, my favorite part about the park is the proximity to the creek. There is ample parking in a dirt lot about 100 feet from a wide path down to the stream. When the water is low it is good for wading.
Decent park. Most people come to use the diamonds or because they live close to it. Playground: Well sized playground Restrooms: Porta potties mostly I believe Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcome Picnic area: Picnic tables and a grill available
I usually take the kids to the play ground here. It's never crowded. Very relaxing. Lots of room to run unless there are sports games then it's fun to watch. There is a walking path around.the whole park but it is crushed gravel so not sure if it would be good for a jog. Waking and biking. Has a covered shelter by the playground and there are a couple portapotties nearby.
This place has it all for a public park. Clean, well maintained and a joy every time! Grand-kids soccer program is awesome.
Very nice and very clean . I would definitely rent it for parents to take their kids or grandparents to take their grandchildren. Most definitely 2 up.
