Hamlin Pub 25 mile road

Stopped by the Hamlin Pub for a quick bite to eat. The restaurant was pretty packed on a Tuesday at 6pm. I was able to find a spot at the bar and was greeted by Marcie who advised me of the special of the day Burger & Brew for $7.99 while that’s a great deal, I opted for a happy hour craft beer and their Cajun Steak Bites. The steak bites were cooked exactly as I requested medium rare served in a bowl of zip sauce, blue cheese and scallions. They nailed the zip sauce as sometimes it can be overly salty, this was perfect.. and the addition of the blue cheese and scallions gave great flavor. Great local bar/restaurant with a menu that has just about anything you’d desire. Great weekly specials. Trivia Tuesdays and a DJ on the weekends if that’s what you’re into. 10/10

I love Hamlin Pub! I usually eat at the Rochester Hills one, but I was on this side of town with my mom and we were starving, so we stopped in and had a bite to eat. Walking in, there was quite a few people already dining which we loved. We seated ourselves at a table and our server came over with menus. They really only had fish as a special which kind of surprised both of us. I know sometimes they have game day specials, but nothing during the week? Anyway, my mom got the fish and loved it. I went with my usual 3 slider combo with sweet potato fries and a sprite. Everything here was good, but we forgot that they upgrade you for a small fee for the sweet potato fries. booo. Anyway, I really do like coming here since their menu has a great selection of food. Service is decent and the layout's the same as the one I go to over in Rochester Hills. Will be back when I'm on this side of town shopping again!

Today was my Wedding Day. We had reserved both party rooms and had the event catered as well. Everything was beyond fantastic. Although I had the menu picked out months ago I never would’ve expected just how delicious everything really was. The Catering Chef Brandon and our reserved Open Bar staff seriously out performed all of our expectations. This Hamlin Pub location has always been a great place to eat and have a great time. You guys really made my Our day that much more special. I will recommend to everyone I know to keep Hamlin Pub in the runnings for a great evening and for catered events.

We went because we are renting their event room for my Son's wedding, so we wanted to see it & have dinner. His future wife loves their Mac & cheese. She loves to add chicken & mushrooms to it. When it came it was cold & the mushrooms were uncooked. We never do this, but had to send it back. I've been there before & their food never disappointed, last night they missed the mark....hope the wedding food is better.

To make this clear. I love the food, the atmosphere, lunch at the bar. I had to give the heads up to my friend who also enjoys all of the above. Your bartender has a bad habit. But I guess that's how she makes a buck. My friend was horrified. I'm sure all who reads this knows exactly what I'm talking about.

Friday night pizza fail! We wanted to try a new pizza in the area. I ended up making dinner for the kids because it was too hard for them to bite a piece off. The cheese and sauce were tasty though. Not a place I’ll eat pizza from again.

The restaurant itself was nice and the food was good. My problem with my experience is that there was only one server for the entire restaurant and there were over 75 customers in the place. The server was very nice, but he received little help from management. There were dirty tables everywhere. The service was extremely slow. I had to ask for my bill and after about 20 minutes I had to find my server, give him my credit card and tell him that I needed to leave. I was there for almost two hours when I should have been in and out in about 45 minutes.

Not a real happy experience. Went for burger night. Our sitting area was cold. We told the server and said she'd talk to the manager. Nothing done. Our burgers took half an hour to get done. Our fries and onion rings were not hot. My burger tasted like a veggie burger. Other people around us were served before us. We understand that they are overworked and short staffed but someone needs to be aware of customer treatment. It will be a while before we return for burger night. Hamlin pub used to be a great place to go. They have changed.

The French onion soup and the chicken and dumpling soup are great! We had the rueben sliders they also were great. The server was great. Highly recommend.

Had an Antipasto Salad from 21 Mile location that was incredible. Wife picked up same salad from this location 25 Mile as carryout. Opened it up at home- HORRIBLE! Looked like 1/4 head of brown lettuce thrown in a container with one piece of tomato and some Mozz. Cheese. Wife calls to tell them and they told her nothing they can do! Never use this 25 Mile LOCATION again!
