Very compact local location for travelers, thimbs up!
My husband had a very serious heart procedure Friday evening, was discharged home next morning. He progressively felt worse and breathless. I'm writing this to commend the staff of the ER. Carrie our nurse was exceptional. She was fast in taking care of my husband and very exceptional at her job. The Dr and staff were also the best. Ordered various testing appropriate to his signs and symptoms. They found he was severely fluid overload and gave him a diuretic which within 2 hours my husband felt relief. We are grateful for you all and thank you so very much for possibly saving my husband's life. I hope the hospital administration knows what wonderful staff they have. Sincerely Jo and Dave
I have been here many times, yes a few not exactly the best but they have always been friendly, nice, compassionate and helpful. The last time I was there the nurses were fantastic the doctors were great, took there time tried to figure out what was going on, several days and the sent me to Iowa City, took them some time and figured it out. But Hammond Henry was great I highly recommend them. No not everyone can have a fantastic experience but give them a chance and they will not disappoint.
I walked in barely, very ill with a GI problem. They checked two things: gallbladder and CDIFF, and when those came back negative, they sent me home with no answers and nothing to help me feel better. I have never been this sick. I'm very disappointed they didn't try harder.
While the nurses and doctors seemed fine, my experience waiting for my mother’s surgery was horrid. The surgical waiting room was full of children running around screaming unsupervised, people swearing non-stop, and others making racist remarks while watching the news. The woman working at the desk in the surgical waiting room never said or did anything. She just sat there watching tv or staring blankly ahead. Everyone in this waiting room was waiting for a loved one having surgery. You would expect some degree of care for the family of patients too.
I forgot to bring my insurance card, and instead of just looking up my info via my ss# and birth date they treated me as a non pay and they shuffled me thru as quick as possible, I felt like they didn't want me there and no discharge papers! Next morning I passed out and the ambulance had to take me to kph where they had my insurance info in five mins!! Geneseo almost killed me and I won't forget it soon
Couldn't provide me with accurate information. Also, you think they would know where all of their patients are supposed to go, especially during a "Pandemic". This place is a joke, so is the Plandemic.
This so-called hospital does not have a child care center!!! We were turned away and had to go to an urgent care in Moline because they don't care for children unless the kid is missing a limb and in the emergency room. I guess that's what you get when you're in a Podunk little hick town. Here's a hint, Hammond Henry.....kids are a big part of your community, I'd suggest you add a child care section to your hospital and bring yourself into 2017.
Quality care by people who care. I've never been disappointed when I've received services here. These people are conscientious caregivers.
Dont take the chance. You can get a bandaid at walgreens with better service. ANYTHING else, go somewhere different
