"Terry Hammond, MD obtained a Bachelor of Arts in biology, cum laude, at the University of Texas and a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He also completed an internal medicine internship and residency at the Navy Hospital in San Diego, California, and a nephrology fellowship at the University of California and Navy Medical Center in San Diego, California.
