Hammondell Campsites

Absolutely loved our stay at Hammondell Campsites and RV Park. This has been the friendliest, most hospitable site we have been to in forever. Pat, her husband, Wendy and the rest of the staff was such a pleasure to work with. From the moment we arrived they made us feel at home, and even helped us setup our RV. Our RV site included water, electric and sewage hook-ups, and even cable TV. The site was very spacious and well lit, with a beautiful picnic area we really enjoyed. The pool was super nice and clean, and it's open from dawn to dusk. They also have laundry facilities, and activities hall. We fell in love with how safe and light the place felt, the people were all friendly and almost everyone we saw had pets, this was the perfect site for our weekend get-away for our daughter's birthday. Hammondell is about 3 miles from Legoland.

Very nice park. The people are very friendly the pool is well taken care of and the facilities are spacious and clean. Update— Back for a second time. This park is so peaceful it has to be one of the most quiet parks we have ever stayed in. Beautiful Spanish moss covering the trees and it’s in a central location. The washers and dryer’s are all new and there is an app to show you what machines are open or still in use. All the lady’s that work here are very friendly and helpful.

I called about a campsite. Spoke with Kim and was told I was getting a concrete pad. I paid the deposit. My friend sent a picture of my site and it was not a concrete pad. I called back to get a refund and she refused stating she knew it was her fault but they held it for me so I couldn’t get my deposit back. That simply isn’t how you do business. So I wouldn’t stay here unless you know 100% what you are getting.

Spent one night on the way up the road from Key West to Maine. Very nice little place. Mostly full of regulars who were all very nice. Many people stopped by to say hello and chat. May book a couple nights next time through. Great spot for visiting family in the area. Pool looked very welcoming and clean.

Terrible start to our vacation! We arrived and were told we couldn’t have the spot we reserved because supposedly the owners came the day before and changed that site to a full time spot. They put us on a tiny corner lot that was too small but they said it was temporary while they work on electrical issues on another site. They gave us 2 options but that same morning they put someone else in the spot we chose. The initial spot we reserved that was supposedly for full timers changed over 3 times in the 2 nights we spent there. So obviously they were lying. We told the manager we were disappointed in the lack of consistency in their communications and then it sounded like she was going to rectify the problem but only to receive a call back with an ultimatum to take a spot we didn’t want and had an hour to make up our minds! Screw you lady! While packing up, the cable guy showed up and said he’s heard this story many times in that park. Spare yourself the stress and games.

It is a very Quiet and Safe park

If you are looking for a simple and affordable place to camp in Winter Haven, FL I'd recommend Hammondell! We had a clean pull-through RV site with full hook-ups and a little picnic table. There were some other facilities that we didn't use like the laundry, pool, and bathhouse, but it's great that they are there. The manager was very kind and accommodating, and when I had a scheduling mishap, she was flexible and made a change for us without a fuss. It is only a few miles from Legoland which was our primary reason for visiting Winter Haven. We will definitely stay here again when we return!

Reviews say it’s a 55 plus community but first picture is of a Lego/child attraction. Update your google business listing !!!

She said it's an all age park and a "family" park, it says an extra 11 dollars a day per person over the 2 kids or 2 adults limit, but if it's a family park why would you say you have annual stays but not have them for family's? That's what a family park is for I'm confused. My family can stay and you can do annual stays but my kids can't stay? 2 weeks for kids at a family park. Nice.

Such nice people; shout out to Kimberly and Wendy! Very quiet clean campground with a sparkling pool. Would definitely return.
