Whew ok. Let me start off and say this is one of two places open on a Monday. Burgers and fríes, expected the standard and left with a $50 bill for a burger with no side Tyson chicken strips, onion rings, a soda, and a shake. The burger was not very good, I didn’t eat the chicken strips as they are quite literally mashed breaded chicken and was charged $2 for a side of blue cheese, $2 to upgrade to pre frozen onion rings. HUGE disappointment to say the least. Medium soda is $3.50, the chicken strips basket was $13. They must be making big money since a bag of fake frozen chicken is $7 at target for 2lbs. The only saving grace was the nice friendly staff but it still wasn’t worth a $50 meal that was WORSE than McDonald’s. Save your money and buy frozen meals across the street for 1/2 the price. It’s quite literally the same thing and you won’t be disappointed. Parking: Parking out front for free
It’s in a neat location that’s new and quiet. The burgers and onion rings were really good. My only thing was everything is expensive and the extra charge for items was way too much, a burger was 9 bucks an extra 6 for a combo plus the other extras cheese two bucks, bacon js another 3 bucks and any sauces were 2 extra bucks it’s also cold inside. We spent 30 bucks on 2 burgers with cheese, onion rings and a drink…WHOA.
Stopped at this place after getting off the Ferry. I was pleasantly surprised. This is a place I would come to again. Maybe not a half hour before those close. Lots of shops in the area, so someone could make a day of shopping. Then stop at Hammys to satisfy the rumblings of the stomach.
First I want to say that I had ordered their loaded fries last week and they were amazing. So I decided to actually try their burgers and ordered them for my whole family for a Sunday night dinner. After waiting almost an hour for my food, I was very disappointed. We ordered veggie patties that were an added $2 each that looked like hockey pucks. When we unwrapped them, the condiments we had ordered on them were minimal. I ended up throwing away 3 of them because we couldn’t choke them down they were so dry Even with the shakes as a chaser. I tried to call because something was missing and I couldn’t get them to answer the phone. There are better places to eat on the island for a $70 meal. I will not be returning. :-
Easily best burgers and fries on island. Cheese curds are also good too. Food is quite unhealthy so its a once-in-a-while type thing. Great staff as well - I am assistant manager at the pb pool and they are all very welcoming to me and my lifeguards. Looking forward to my next visit there
Food has gone downhill alot. The meat is flavorless and the onion rings are dry and overcooked. $9 for a milkshake is outrageous. I cannot recommend it. The 1950's decor is charming, but the food is not. PassFood: 2/5
I frequent this place a few times a month, and although the building and decor of Hammy's aren't anything to write home about, the Pleasant Beach area as a whole is amazing. There is still plenty of construction going on, but it has small-town Kitsap vibes and is well worth the visit. Grab a burger, fries, and shake at Hammy's and even when their tables are full, there is plenty of seating outside nearby.
One of the best burgers I've had in Washington! My boyfriend got one with a huge jalapeno on top. That jalapeno was soooo spicy it had him sweating!! Unfortunately didn't get to try a milkshake yet so I'll be back for sure !!
Joe’s smash burger with jalapeño cheddar sauce. Really good. Hits the spot.
Overpriced burnt burger with very little toppings. Frozen fries and somehow even the Coca Cola didn't taste good. Very expensive for small portions of terrible tasting food.Food: 1/5
