Hampton Cafe

This is a great hidden Cafe in McGregor. I try and stop and get thier club house sandwich on homemade rye everytime I pass. This Cafe also sells frozen pre-made meals, olive oils and woodworking. If your looking for a nice little spot to have a sandwich this is a great little spot.

Very friendly people....food nice and tasty. I found the portions small for the price but otherwise a nice place.

Great food, free WiFi. Came on a road trip and had the breakfast special. there was one more egg and toast slice :

Hampton Café is a welcoming small town diner + coffee shop! Their specialties include warm breakfasts, healthy lunch options soups, sandwiches, wraps, salads, burgers, and pizza! Daily hot lunch specials are regularly offered, and during the pandemic takeout options have been expanded to include chicken dinners, appetizer trays, wings, and baking. They also have an ice cream machine and can do twisters, cones, and cakes. It's one of my favourite places to visit, I really enjoy the food and friendly small town atmosphere : *Looking forward to the return of the "tossed up Tuesday salad bar"!

Hampton Cafe is a wonderful choice of where to eat! Great food, homemade baking, always clean and well priced! I am especially a fan of their homemade ice cream sandwiches. Family friendly dining and takeout.

We ended up at Hampton Cafe after our car broke down in MacGregor. The mechanic we brought the car to suggested the bed and breakfast as there are not many choices in this town and we couldn't make it very far. We found the owner of the cafe/b&b very friendly and accommodating. The b&b was very clean and well furnished. For breakfast you go down to the cafe and take something on their menu for a maximum of 12-13$ unsure the specific price and the portion is good enough to fill the average person.

Great food but the cheeseburger pizza is one of our favourites. In the summer, you have to get a bag of ice cream sandwiches for your freezer!

Interesting layout; more like a posh hostel than a B&B. Shared bathrooms, TV room and kitchen. Rooms have bed only but are very comfortable. Burgers are excellent. Wifi works great.

There was all of 3 people including myself in the building and they kept using the excuse of it being so busy for waiting over an hour for my soup. Which they brought the wrong soup on top of that. Then brought my burger 15 minutes later and forgot my poutine. Told I would have to wait 20 minutes for poutine... I was offered no compensation for the lack of poutine and the incorrect soup and it took her over 10 minutes to put my order into the POS and still got it wrong. She said she had working there for a year. I will never return to this place. What a joke
