This organization goes the extra mile for each and everyone of the childrens on their care. Love, respect and nurturing care are tha must. most important duties
From the moment I got to His house onto the moment I left I felt nothing but love and support from the staff, Directors and even the CEO. They love all kids the same, and they reward good behavior.
His house is a very good enviorment that restores the lives of us. The staff are excellent and excel at the ability to help and assist us.
When I first got to this place I was very happy that I was going to be able to work with GOOD people and be with kids But NO Once you work inside it’s a whole different ball game. Seeing staff getting fired left to right and I’m talking about good staff. HR Depeartment they only cover they a**.. ask them how many people they fired ? They don’t spend time with kids , they don’t come visit them. They claim they are SUPER CHRISTIAN , but no all there is in that company bunch of noses people and the last thing they care about is the CHILDRENS .. they have history of lawsuit and much more .. they paint it nice and all but inside there is nothing but bad vibe , even the kids will tell you
This place is family friendly. Thanks to places like this lots of kids receive help and have a place to call home. I am inviting you to visit this place so you can see with your on eyes and become one of the the supporters to this beautiful cause. This place is always looking for volunteers and people that want to donate time, goods, service and money. If you're a dad, mom, son or daughter please come and help these children so they can have a decent life. If you can spare something that you have to help " His Huose Children's " please do it. This place is taking care lots of children and these children are the future of our country. If you think that you don't have enough to share to help these children then I invite you to go and visit this place so you can realize how rich and fortuned you're. Think about it, pray about it and make a decision, decision that will change your life forever!
Working with the children at this organization was very interesting and great. But the management at this organization is HORRIBLE ....DO NOT WORK HERE. Volunteering will be your best option to get to work with the children here but do not make this as your career option or put in a application. They change there polices a lot so you don’t know what rules to really follow. They don’t train you , you have to train yourself. The supervisors are rude To the staff and play like there helpful but they are really messy. They give you a suspension 1st before a displinary action. Their vans are VERY RAGGEDY they break down every day of the week. The kids only eat snack food and breakfast food. They don’t buy any type of food for dinner to cook the children only eat frozen foods. The cottages are dirty , facilities take their time to fix on anything that needs fixing. You don’t know when your getting terminated because you can get terminated by any lil petty situation or if they just don’t like you. HUMAN RESOURCES never visits the homes or the managers. The staff always have drama and the main ones to get terminated out of the supervisors and managers. The food is disgusting. The kids don’t really get to go out or do anything. They hire a lot of employees but only 2 employees stay out of every hiring group. They don’t pay enough for the work that you gave to deal with every day. So if you just love children the money shouldn’t matter. They don’t want to pay holiday pay or overtime. MANAGEMENT treat the staff HORRIBLE and the children. The Hygiene products they buy for the children are very cheap and I.T breaks their skin out. When staff request to management that the kids do not have enough of food or need better hygiene products they do not listen and continue to buy the same food and hygiene products over and over. The kids do not like the food that’s cooked for them. So if you love children you should just volunteer.... I WOULDNT WORK HERE AS AN EMPLOYEE the pay isn’t good or the benefits. DCF should really look into this organization it’s really not a great place to work or place children to live. His House is very cheap with the children. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ABOUT THIS PLACE Also the CEO Silvia is a racist
His House is a place to give present and future to a lot of kids. The staff is awesome. It is a place for hope and kindness. Thanks God for His House
It was fun living there for awhile looking for adoption. We got to go to Disney World and Chucky Chesse. But when I was moving with my foster parents I left one important bag of mine so the day after I called to see when I could get is. It turns out they already donated all of my sstuff, including my jacket that I received on my birthday, my books that helped me in advanced classes such as algebra, and all of my money and gift cards $80 worth. If anybody leaves this place make sure to take everything with you
I am very concerned about this organization. There were several red flags. I was helping an employee of mine to regain custody of their family member who was an unaccompanied immigrant minor. Let me say first that this is the 6th time I have gone through this and have never been charged as I understood it, they receive grants and such. I have never heard of a charity forcing people to pay. My employee advised me that the lady on the phone requested a money order for $800 for the plane ticket. I immediately researched and found tickets for $200. So when he couldn't pay that amount she then lowered it to $500. He informed her he would ask his bossmeif he could borrow it and she immediately told him not to tell anyone and to come to the airport alone. BIG RED FLAG. Bc he felt weird about that he did tell me. I drove him to the airport and between the time they landed and got off the plane the man called 4 times to keep asking if we had the money. And advised my employee if he didn't have the money he would not release the boys bag. THE BAG? my belief is that he knew he couldn't legally hold they boy. When they got off the plane a man was with the child. I immediately asked why he is being charged and the man didn't try to explain he immediately threatened to call the police. Knowing that my employee is here in this country illegally he probably assumed that he would be scared and would want to just pay, get the kid and go. But me..um..not so much. After several attempts to understand why the fee? Whats the charge about? The man took the boys arm and began to walk away. Which freaked my employee out and he immediately said "can we just pay". The man used fear and intimidation to extract money out of my employee and that is the legal definition of extortion. Not to mention that they kept lowering the prices and only accepted money orders or western union . then by the end of the ordeal the man was so desperate he said fine just give me cash. The lady on the phone asked for the money order to be written to the mans personal name. I have reported this childrens home for extortion and fraud and I understand non profits can ask for money but they cannot force people to pay using threats and intimidation. they will be investigated and I hope that these people are fired and/or jailed accordingly. I reported them bc everything about that ordeal felt wrong and fully believe that my employee was taken advantage of. /they knew he would pay bc he wanted his family member back. That man is scum!
Very nice facility. So glad there are places like this to help children who are all alone
