First and last time staying here. Specifically said I'd need a ride to the airport on my first day since my flight got in late. They didn't get the request so they left me, a single female, stranded at the airport. Thankfully a nice gentleman from another hotel gave me a ride over. Room was fine, but you can hear everything so don't expect to sleep in. Check out was a lecture that I should have called down to get a ride to the airport after I just told her that I wasn't in a rush. The shuttle is supposed to run throughout the day. Pay extra and avoid this place. It's worth it. Edit: despite updating my payment type,l and presenting the same card at check in, they charge to the wrong account and caused me to be overdrawn because it came out of an account I keep a small balance in.
Front Desk Lady 12/27 in the evening would not extend our check out even one hour. Unfriendly. No. No. No. She says.... We are caught in the blizzard disaster with Southwest and have been shuttled around from rental car to airport to rental car to airport, still not back to Florida. Now sitting all day in the airport. The building smells like a skilled nursing facility. The blanket has the bedspread, blanket and sheet in one - and the middle "blanket" all bunched up. Old hotel - the room had a burn smell - like scorched. Machines were out of order - must go to the front desk. I am surprised Hilton would put their brand on this hotel.
Booked this hotel because it looked new and was outside the beltway and we could avoid morning commuters. The hotel is very new and have to say that it is the nicest Hampton we have ever stayed at. Rooms are spacious and the breakfast outstanding. Kudos to the entire staff! Nearby activities: 2 miles from airport. But no jet noise.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff! The business center allowed printing which was very useful. The airport shuttle was prompt and a great benefit. Would highly recommend if needing a night of accommodation before a flight.Rooms: 5/5
We stayed here and the front desk ladies were nice and the room was really big and clean the bathtub had a little hair but the overall stay was really nice. Nice area. We booked another weekend!!Rooms: 5/5
The swimming pool was dirty, a thin brownish/green color was noticeable on the inner lining. When selecting a hotel in the area, we were specifically looking for hotels with a swimming pool for the kids. Thus, the pool was disappointing. But the self check-in and check-out feature worked well. The family found plenty to eat at breakfast time.
Lady up front was not helpful or friendly. Treated like I wasn’t welcome. No room ready at 130 pm? At least be nice about it! Won’t be back for 160 bucks! Place looks nice and rooms are nice.
Had to call 7 times before somebody answered the desk phone and sent the shuttle to the airport. It was 29 deg F waiting 20 minutes for the shuttle. HVAC was very noisy. Room is worn stains and scratches Front staff at 11AM Saturday was less than welcoming - instead had attitude.
Clean and as pictured. Very nice staff at check in. Check out, not so much. Having said that, we gave the 2 stars because we were denied late checkout. As Hilton Honors Gold members this is a perk you are entitled to so long as the room type is available to do so. The room was available to book again for the night so there was no reason to not allow for a late 2pm checkout. However she did rudly state we could pay for another night if we wanted to stay late. Again meaning the room was available. Why these rewards are awarded if you're not going to allow the guests to use them is false advertisement and wrong. The phone calls and knocking on the door prior to the hotel normal checkout were an annoyance and unnecessary. The HVAC was loud and ran the entire time we were there. Finally turned it off manually just to have a break from the noise for a second. The laundry facilities are residential, old, and in desperate need of replacing. Had to pay for 2 dry cycles as my clothes were not even close to dry after the 1st cycle.
Mark and Cody were very helpful, pleasant and efficient at check in. Gave us complimentary water, and made us feel welcomed. Room was spacious, clean, bathroom clean and nice size with great lighting! Bed was very comfortable. We were on the interstate side and you could hear the traffic slightly but not really once we were sleeping. We both slept very well. The breakfast was really nicely set up and clean and neat. I loved the fried egg rounds and sausage!! I felt the price for the stay was very good compared to everywhere else I called that night to stay. We will definitely stay here again on our travels!!
