Everything about the experience was excellent. I appreciated the ease of making reservations online. I originally reserved two rooms for one night, but when plans changed, I was able to quickly switch the reservation to one room for two nights. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. I stopped by the service desk a couple of times to ask questions, and the staff was super nice and helpful. The location of the hotel was basically right in the middle of all the places I needed to be. I enjoyed the entire experience with this hotel.
Lou or Lucy was awesome! So kind very sweet my son loved her! Definitely our favorite worker there. Definitely give her recommendation! The place is nice breakfast is delicious. The only three things I will say no trash can in the bathroom but they took care of that. We had a leak from air conditioner they tired to take care of that. There should be room service. Think that would help a lot. But other then that great place to stay!
My room was filthy. I. Mean. Filthy. The rest of the hotel was unclean. The hallways had not been vacuumed. The garbages were running over by the elevators. The elevators were dirty and sticky. This place was a mess. You DON'T GET ANY ROOM SERVICE unless you ask for it. You have to ask for your garbage to be emptied. With a 7-day stay your room is never cleaned or towels changed, unless you ask for it. I do not recommend the Hampton Inn Hotel by the Pensacola Airport until they can clean up their act. The housekeeping and kitchen staff were friendly, but I think the hotel is just not paying those people to do a good job often enough. For some reason I am unable to get my photos to stay attached to this posting, but I promise you this place was a mess.
It was probably the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in! We asked to change rooms immediately after check-in due to the mattresses being dirty, only to get dirty carpet, and a window we couldn't see out of, it was so stained with something. This hotel is old and run down for the money. If there had been other rooms available, we would have left. We went home a day early and definitely complained to management.
I am very disappointed with my stay here. The breakfast lady Kirby was not pleasant at all and was not dressed appropriately. The hotel never had enough towels from the time we checked in. We had to go buy towels to bathe. The hotel is worn down and needs a remodeling. The comforters had stains all over them the bathroom had not been swept or wiped down properly. I hated it here we will never stay again.
Check in was great! The staff made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Rooms were nice and clean. There was no linens for the pullout sofa, we had to go down stairs to get them. There is no washer and dryer on the property. We had to go next door to their sister hotel to do laundry for our AAU Basketball team. Breakfast was typical hot breakfast with the waffle maker, muffins, eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal. Kitchen lady seemed bothered when asked questions but breakfast was good. This is our 2nd year staying at this location for our AAU Basketball tournament. We live the hotel but we will probably not stay next year if they don't add a laundry room. Rooms: Rooms were clean and comfortable! Safety: Safe area, quiet and clean.
The room was spacious and nice but the customer service was G A R B A G E. Showed up to check in at 3:30, 30 minutes later than i said i would and after the time the room was supposed to be ready. Room was not ready. Wasn’t even offered my gold benefit or offered a different room that was ready. Guy never took his airpods out and constantly misheard me and other guests. The least you can do is take them out when actively dealing with people. I was not afforded a late checkout but they could check me in 2 hours late . Never got told about breakfast. Overall awful for a room so expensive.
Customer service was very disappointing. The receptionist was very rude; did not greet us as we walked in and did not offer the HHonors amenities. This was in stark contrast to my stay earlier in the week at the Hampton inn in Abingdon VA. The hotel feels old. Carpets are dirty and towels were bad.
worst Hampton inn we ever stayed. the room service and cleaning staff takes the hampton feel away. front desk is not bad. we did digital checkin on level1 and when we got to the room, it was unclean with leftover food and unkept bedsheets, clearly no room service done. they changed us to level2, the new room fuse tripped as soon as we put on the microwave. the staff does not exchange pleasantries u when u pass them. we asked staff to collect the room trash on day 2 and they showed attitude. the breakfast lady would throw attitude if u ask any question, post breakfast the lobby had food pieces on floor , even the lobby outside room has litter . we stayed with family for 4 days and not happy.
The closeness to the airport makes this a convenient location, but it's well past time to do some deep cleaning of the rooms, especially the bathrooms. The floor and shower head could use a serious scrubbing to remove the calcium deposit and soap scum. It was quite unfortunate that I forgot my shower shoes. I was so bothered by the appearance that I stood on a towel to keep my feet off the grime. The housekeeping staff were uncaring of the guest. There were three to four different people cleaning rooms on floor 2 who were standing in the hallway conversing, and every other word was a foul word and a complaint about their work. Though there were the incidents mentioned, the fitness room and complimentary breakfast were nice amenities. Nearby activities: Curious lanes is in walking distance with pool tables, bowling, a full bar and bowling alley food.
