Love this park!!! Early morning access for exercise starts at 7:30 - just walk across the bridge after parking in the outside lot. The outer paved trail is about 1 mile with lots of shade coverage. Alternate trails break up the monotony and there are workout stations too. Covered pavilions, clean restrooms, multiple shady playgrounds, and boat rentals make this a popular spot.
This is such a great park to visit. It's always kept clean, the walking and bike paths are so tranquil. The foliage and trees are beautiful. There's gazebo spaces to rent for parties. The kids parks are always clean, well kept and the swings don't squeak! This is a very nice park.
I really love this park. From the entrance inwards it's a great place to go to. It has got wide open spaces, clean and fresh air, different play areas for the kids, somewhat secluded paths for walking and jogging, makes you feel like you are in the jungle without been the jungle, exercise equipment, pavilions for parties, a nice late for paddle boating and I think fishing as well or you could just sit and chill at one of the many benches along the lakeside. Love it !!!! Playground: Has two playgrounds one as you enter and another one along the trail Restrooms: There are restrooms in the front and abt midway along the trail Picnic area: Great picnic areas
This is a great, clean and empowering park to visit. It has confortable spaces to relax and go to study; or practice yoga. It’s ideal for Al of us that appreciates and love to write, and establish an unique connection with the nature. Give it park a try; your are gonna love it. Cheers Ivan Varela
Beautiful park with fun things to do! There's a lot of space so u can always have a place to yourself. Great on weekdays or the weekend. If you want to ride the boats, bikes or trikes I suggest being the first person there. It's open weekends 12-4.
Beautiful place to go walking, running, jogging, biking or just take a nature walk stroll. Benches to sit at the waterview. Plenty of covered pinic areas, two playgrounds that's well shaded. Love this place for evening walks.
This is an excellent place to do barbecues or just for a walk. They have water boats, bicycles and so much more to rent. The scenery is beautiful, the trees are extremely large and add shade. I would recommend bringing bug repellent and sunscreen as it is outdoors. The lake in the middle makes the area super relaxing. This is a perfect spot to unwind. This park also has multiple spots to workout and park spaces for kids to play in. They have multiple pavilions near play sets.
I'm from Indiana and I've been to several parks in the surrounding areas. I really like this park and my favorite is pompano community park thus far!!!!! Me and my granddaughter enjoyed our visit today, especially the leisure trail! This is a beautiful park.
I go to Hampton Pines to get out into nature and walk the 1 mile trial. Playground: There are two playgrounds at the park for young children. Restrooms: There are restrooms near the entrance of the park and within the park. Picnic area: Scattered throughout the park.
I visit this park very often almost every other day, I love the pavilions and the trial walk. Very peaceful never had any issues. However today was trying to enjoy lunch and the raccoons was was surrounding 5 of them going in and out or the trash cans in the pavilion area; tried to scare them off but they were very brave and unbothered… if someone was to go throw something away it could have been very dangerous without them knowing Raccoons are in the trash eating left over food, could possibly scare then raccoon and be hurt.
