Although it is a recreation center with a fitness center, the temperature in the building is kept uncomfortably warm in the summer and in the winter, presumably for the comfort of the staff. A few $20 box fans are not enough and anybody trying to get a decent workout is dripping with sweat after just a few seconds.
It’s very unequivocal for everybody in this programs and clubs. They have a workout area and snacks or drinks.
there are good and bad parts of hampton community center. As a whole park it is a great place to go. Big soccer fields and amazing baseball fields, but as a community center its very plain. 2 full basketball courts with dividers.
Scheduled an event a few months ago and had an initial walk thru with Joann. Down payment was made at this appointment. Since then, it’s been extremely hard to get any response return email or voicemails. I will update after event to see if things change.
Great community center, my friends and I play basketball there every week. The courts have good grip and all of the basketball rims are good! The staff working there are super friendly and helpful, great community!
This community facility is fabulous. There is nothing missing. Library, gym, workout area, kids play area,swimming pool, gardens you name it, they have it. Check out the pickleball schedule.
As a Hampton resident I am proud of the center. The new gym surfaces look great.
