Iv been shopping here consecutively for a year now I always buy the same thing when I go in. I was charged more than double for what I normally buy. So I contact them and go up there and tried showing pictures and the transactions on my phone and even asked the man to run the cameras back for confirmation of what I bought. He refused and asked for me to bring back the bottle and still couldn't confirm that he could make this mistake right..... been coming there a while, today definitely will be the last. Lol funny cause it was a small mistake made and could have easily been fixed. Wasn't even that much money like 9 bucks... If you need a drink and your in Hanahan go somewhere else

Normally I would have rated this a five star. Truth be told the only reason why I used to visit this store was because the woman who owned it was so sweet when she passed away I just decided to stay there and support the business. I was known to spend at least $60 a week which amounts to $240+ a month. One day I was in there and I was looking for a new product for my daughter some kind of tequila.. top line... and I was asking questions because I was not aware of the product. I got the product, brought it to the front and proceeded to ask questions and the owner said, "hey you're giving me a headache". What? I refuse to give my money to someone who insulted me like that and that's too bad cuz I gave great business!

Great selection and nice staff.

They had a decent selection of things and the staff was friendly. However as of around March 2015 I don't think they are in business any longer. I've visited the store a few times in the past 6 weeks, always during normal business hours/days and at different times and the door is always locked. I don't live very far and pass by almost daily and haven't seen the "Open" sign on a single time. I'd try and call ahead if you want to visit this Hanahan liquor store, I've called 6+ times and no one has answered.

You would think the basics included the basics. Sure, they have the usual liquors. I headed over because I was nearby. I needed the most common brand of bitters around. They don’t carry bitters of any sort. “Because people don’t ask for it.” Seems to me a decent liquor store is going to stock the basics to make the classic cocktails, not just the stuff people get drunk on these days. And when a potential regular customer wants something as classic as Angostura bitters, maybe they would consider telling you they’d stock it for you instead of turning you away disappointed.

Good. I was there waiting for the store to open. It opened late within one hour from the time on the store schedule. 10AM-? It opened around 10:30. Waiting for the system going up & running before I make the purchase. I didnt mind waiting.

Great experience, I was in there for ten minutes two months ago, and the owner remembered me when I came in and asked if I liked my previous purchase. Great customer service and a nice selection.
