After Paul Harper retired from the Military with 38 years total service, he needed something to keep busy. So Paul and his son Stephen started doing business in Hanceville, Al in 2007. They began in business as an inexpensive guns & ammo store using the name of Hanceville Guns & Ammo LLC. The business went well and the Harper family developed a name for being fair minded, honest businessmen that treated their customer’s right. Paul expanded the store to include White Metal Detectors, buying precious metals such as gold and silver coins. Paul has always been a coin collector. In 2011, Paul & Stephen started an online Internet store “Hanceville Gun”. We named it after the town we live in. We have chosen to market our Products through store front and on-line internet. We feel they can service your total needs on a local basis. We believe our success depends on having a progressive mindset without sacrificing the traditional values of excellent service. Through hard work and acquisitions, the product line continued to grow, always striving to make quality products at affordable prices. By chance, our business is located next door to the Hanceville Police Department. Over the years, the Harper family became ardent supporters of Military and Law Enforcement everywhere.
