Visiting from Maryland and my daughter was bit by a family members dog. They were super helpful on the phone and even more in person. Alisha, Logan and Bobbi and staff took excellent care getting us seen immediately and cared for quickly all with an amazing bedside manner for our terrified 5 year old daughter. Thank you all!
As if Healthcare isn't expensive enough. They charged me more because I told them all my symptoms and the nurse told me to see my primary care . I have went here for years when I needed . I will do my best never to return and never refer anyone again. Charged nearly 50% more than normal visit.
I called 15 minutes ago to make an appointment, and the person who answered told me that I could just walk in and get seen in 30 mins at the latest. When I walked in 5 minutes later, the receptionist was extremely rude and told me that I couldn't have called and that I would have to wait 6 and a half hours to be seen! And there was nobody waiting inside or in the parking lot. When I read back the number I had called, it was the correct number. She has been there before and has been incredibly rude every time. This is all because I went in a month ago for a cough that hadn't gone away, and I was told it was just allergies despite me telling them I didn't think it was allergies. The only test they did was a covid test, which was negative. Then she looked at my throat and told me that it had to be allergies because it was red. I was given a prescription for prednisone and told to take allergy medicine every day. It's been over a month and I'm only getting worse. I've had the cough for over three months now and can't go to my regular doctor because of work. Very rude and poor service. You're better of taking a sick day from work and trying to go to a primary care provider.
I went two weeks ago for a massive sinus infection accompanied with hearing loss. While there, I asked Bobbi the NP to please speak up because I could not hear her. Three times. She continued speaking over me, ignored me when I asked for a specific med, and all but shoved me out the door three minutes after she joined me in the exam room. I left with no idea what meds were prescribed because I could not hear her. I drove home in tears. Here we are, two weeks later. Meds are gone and I am still sick. I have called 11 times today; no answer. I guess I need to find somewhere else since.they can't be bothered to even pick up the phone. Horrible experience. Beware!
I was very pleased with my visit here yesterday. The nurse practitioner was very smart, thorough, and friendly. I had been struggling with a bad cough and sinus issues for 4 weeks despite being on antibiotics. But after only one day of being on the meds she recommended I was feeling better. I can tell Im finally on my way back to health. I have been to this location 2 other times in the past and was very impressed with both of those NPs to as well as the front office, nurse asst, and radiology tech! Never a bad experience. Thank you
No where on the website does it say an appointment is required. I showed up more than an hour before closing time with my son and called the number as directed on the sign. The very rude lady that answered phone told me that I didn't have an appointment so they couldn't see me note: there were 2 cars in the parking lot so they clearly weren't too busy. When I asked if there was another place I could take my son besides the emergency room, she hung up on me. I'm completely blown away by the lack of professionalism and service.
Visited urgent care in Greenfield on Muskegon on July 19 and 20th And again on 22 July 2021. My daughter was ill She had a horrible sore throat very dizzy headache and fever. The first day we were there on July 19 they told us to go get some things from over the counter and if she was still ill the next day to come back which we did on the 20th at that time they gave her a Covid test and a rapid strep and told me they would call with the results on the Covid which came back negative she also told me they would send the rapid strep test out to the hospital for a culture and it would take 2 to 3 days and that she would call me with the results. Then they told me to come back again on Thursday for another Covid test because sometimes it takes six or seven days to show up which I don’t believe it’s true. Went back again on Thursday, July 22 for the second Covid test and I asked if that time have you heard anything on the strep test that she sent out to the hospital to grill culture she said she would go in and check for me and let me know she didn’t call back I called them and they said they hadn’t heard yet. Wait until Friday the 23rd called them they claimed that the test was never sent off and that I would need to come back for another strep test at that time. All the incompetency they I’ve shown I declined. Then my daughter needed a doctors note for work they claim that they couldn’t email anything which is really hard to believe in this day and age. This place is very incompetent and I do not and would not recommend this place to anyone!
I was surprised that my lab work would be processed immediately on site! There was no waiting, and my medical history and also the physical exam were expedient but not rushed. I was impressed with the thoroughness and professionalism of my provider. Very different from the confusion and pointless waiting that seems par for the course in my primary care physician's office Five PLUS stars.
I have been to this urgent care on many occasions. Sure, sometimes the wait is a bit longer than I would like, but every time our family has received the correct treatment after hours and on weekends without paying a $1500 ER visit. All of the staff is always very nice and respectful.
Always competent, friendly, available. Have always been very impressed with Hancock Immediate Care.
