This is a great spring and Riverwalk area. It could be a 5 star but the pool was closed. It's a really beautiful spring fed area and it's too bad that nothing is being done with this gem. The surrounding area has some pointless strip mall stuff and a beer barn killing the view.
Super cold, clean water, spring fed man made pool. The water flows continuously, no need for chlorine. Carry ins allowed, but snacks and beverages for sale as well.
I always enjoy going there. Someday the sulfur smell can be stronger than other days. But your skin always feels great afterwards. There are plenty of shaded trees, the water is always 77⁰ year round. Pro tip: bring a picnic basket/snacks & relax. Also if you have any tarnished silver jewelry the water will naturally shine it right up! Parking has never really been a problem there, I just hope this little gem doesn't get to noticed or popular.
Absolutely beautiful place to go and swim, and cool off well kept and clean the staff are friendly, plenty of shade, and is In the budget for a small family, there are also lots of local things to do.
Loved this place. Like Barton Springs but much cheaper and on a smaller scale. I liked this place better than Barton Springd bc it is much more calm and peaceful. The water is very clean and cool doesn't feel as cold as Barton and there are lifeguards all around for safety. Liked that there was lots of shade to escape the sun. Lots of picnic tables as well. Outside food and drink are allowed as well as floaties and pool toys. They only accept cash for admission and concession stand items so makes sure to bring cash with you. Will be back again soon.
The pool is very chilly. But once you get used to it it can be very fun. The one thing I would add is a slide.!
This place is great for family gatherings!!gathering!!! You bring outside food and drinks not alcohol!!! And the water feels so good.
It’s an amazing place to swim at!
great place for family, was cold at first but we for used to it, family loved it!!!
