I am a pastry chef turned stay-at-home-mom. I make all my goodies completely from scratch and keep my prices as low as possible.
I attended culinary school from 2005-2007. I have a full culinary degree, but my focus has always been cakes and pastries. I make everything from scratch from the batter, to the fillings, to the frosting (the only pre-made item you will find on my cakes is the fondant). Since I bake out of my home kitchen, I am unable to make cakes for over 100 people. My wedding cakes are generally $2-3 per serving, cupcakes are $1.50-2.50 each (in batches of a dozen), marshmallows are $8 per pound, and other goodies are priced by the batch/dozen. Delivery fees may be added depending on order size and location.
