Henry Hanes and the Lineberry family have provided funeral services to Greensboro, North Carolina, and surrounding areas since 1919.
Henry Hanes, the Lineberry family and their funeral homes and cemeteries have been providing funeral, cemetery and cremation services for Greensboro, North Carolina, and the surrounding areas since 1919. For more than 90 years of continuous service, our commitment has remained unchanged, and yet our services have always responded to the changing needs of the community.
Established in 1936, Guilford Memorial Park and Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home-Sedgfield Chapel have been one of the largest funeral homes and cemeteries. Covering a total of 62 acres, our property is located at 6000 High Point Road between two of the Piedmont Triad's biggest cities, Greensboro and High Point. Comprised of gentle rolling hills and a lake, the park offers our families peaceful surroundings for their loved ones.
The funeral home offers families a relaxed comfortable setting, while delivering unparalleled service and commitment to your loved one. Upon entering our park, your eyes are drawn to our first mausoleum faced in beautiful rock with a Spanish-style red tile roof. Within this mausoleum many of our leading families in textiles and furniture are interred. We also have two more mausoleums in our park. The Tower Mausoleum is available for outside above-ground interment. Our Mausoleum II, which offers above-ground interment, offers both choices of inside and outside crypts. We have several different burial sections, giving our families the choice of placing either upright monuments or flat bronzes markers for their loved ones. We are one of the few locations that offer the convenience of having the funeral home and cemetery on the same property. We also offer our private family estates for those who wish to have above-ground crypts in an exclusive environment.
Our firms are proud to be members of the Dignity Memorial® network of more than 1,800 funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers across the United States. When you choose a Dignity Memorial provider, you not only receive the compassionate care you expect from a locally operated establishment, but also the value you deserve from the largest and most trusted network of funeral, cremation and memorialization providers.
