Had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Haney. Everything went according to plan. Very little pain, quick procedure, quick recovery time. My extraction sites have healed up very nicely thanks to extra precautions taken by Dr. Haney. The office was always very helpful and available for questions, and was very welcoming. If I needed to have my wisdom teeth out again probably impossible I would use this office over and over. Very professional. Would recommend to anyone. Also took both of my insurances, making out-of-pocket cost very low.
Dr. Haney is by far the best oral surgeon in State College. He really takes the time to ensure that you are getting the best possible care and procedures to fit your needs. His staff is wonderful and very attentive. I would definitely recommend him and his staff to anyone who needs dental care. Dr. Haney is great professionally. He removed my wisdom tooth and I recovered really well. It is much more relieving than I thought. My only complain would be during my first visit. I waited more than 40 min passing my scheduled time only to consult with Dr. Harney for 5 min. And then when I walked out of the office, I was charged for a consulting fee of $85. I wasn't informed anything about the consulting fee while I was checking in and signing the forms there. It came out totally as a surprise. I wasn't happy about it as it is a big money for students plus other oral surgery places in town were not charging for that as far as I know. I think the check in staffs should be more considerate and informative.
Dr Haney did an exemplary job extracting an impacted wisdom tooth for me. Although I opted for a local anesthetic instead of complete sedation, it was so quick and painless that I could have napped through it if not for having to hold my mouth open. I've been at the receiving end of more discomfort at hair salons than I was in his chair. The wound was minimal, and it's partially healed already been five days since the procedure. I haven't even needed an ibuprofen during the recovery, let alone any prescription pain killers. I'd happily recommend him to anyone.
I have had 2 procedures done and the follow-up care has been terrific. Dr. Haney, the nurses and secretaries are always very pleasant and nice. They are extremely punctual and I have always been seen on time.
The follow up care was terrible. Dr. Haney went on vacation the day after my procedure and Diane, nurse, was so rude when I called to talk to her. As a medical professinal myself, I have never talked to a patient the way she spoke to me.
Great oral surgeon. I am a dentist and trust him to my patients frequently. Always caring and great results. You are in good hands!
I pulled two of my wisdom teeth there on February 2019. The surgeon was professional, and staff were helpful and careful.
Dr. Haney is wonderful, I recommend him. Very nice man and very professional. His nurses and office staff are great.Very happy bunch and very kind to all the patients.
Super clean and comfortable! The staff is SO nice, everyone seems like they really enjoy their job. And the waiting room is really cute and homey.
