Outstanding… over the years, I’ve eaten at a myriad of steakhouse’s and without question, this place sits at the top and has set the bar for others to aspire too. The petite fillet with lobster was phenomenal. The meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the lobster tail was awesome. The asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes and baked potato were great and only enhanced our meal. The Crab cocktail was fresh and contained large pieces of crab meat. The food was priced accordingly and the portions were generous. Although, the food was sensational, I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the server staff. All worked smoothly together as a team and we’re attentive to our needs the entire evening. Lastly, I’d like to commend the reception desk staff. They were very professional and dressed accordingly for an establishment of this high caliber. They are a significant part of one’s dining experience because they are the first company representatives a customer sees. Their professional demeanor and dress speaks volumes of what one might expect of their dining experience.
I love going to Hank's! Such a beautiful place to enjoy a few drinks and have a bite. Their food and drink are yummy. Love the live music at the bar and the gorgeous-looking hostess. This is my to-go spot when I'm in Henderson. You don't have to make a reservation for the bar area but a reservation is highly recommended for the dining room area.
My husband and I came here for dinner, and had a really great experience. For a restaurant inside of the casino, the atmosphere was very elegant. Our servers and busy boy were extremely attentive, and the steaks were tender and cooked to perfection. Would absolutely recommend this as a place for a nice dinner. Do make a reservation as this place can book up fast!!
Thanksgiving dinner was excellent, as well as Australian wagyu steak. A bit pricey, but similar to other high end restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is more bar-like rather than pure restaurant, and rather noisy as well with live entertainment going on at the opposite side of where we were seated, but still obtrusive. Possibly because of the holiday crowd, but the service was slow and erratic. They forgot my wife's appetizer, and it was difficult to get our waiters attention, with the result being that the appetizer didn't arrive until the entree was served. Not good.
So we had a reservation and when we arrived there was a bit of a hiccup with getting us sseated. We were told that a booth wasn't available even though I passed one on the way to the table they were trying to seat us at. Nevertheless the GM did come out and speak with me and get us seated at the booth. Our sever who's name is escaping me was FABULOUS. If I can figure out his name I will edit this post to include it. Any who we ordered 3 appetizers... crab cakes, shrimp tempura and seafood platter. I will say that the shrimp tempura was fine but I did prefer the other 2 appetizers more. We ordered the short ribs off the Christmas menu it was good but could have used a bit more flavor. My bone-in filet was perfect and the sauces that our server brought out were just an added bonus. Creamed corn and potatoes are gratin for sides to share. Creamed corn was delicious but the potatoes were just ok. The server made them seem like they would be just over the top; but they were just average at best. We ordered dessert to-go which is why I don't have pics. The chocolate bar was ok, it has a crunch texture throughout that I wasn't a huge fan of; I expected it to be super chocolaty. We also got the cheesecake and I will say that was extraordinary, it is a must! I will finish this up with saying that I was visiting because I really wanted to have the 24oz lobster tail that they are known for. However it is temporarily off the menu because they are unable to get it in due to Covid words from server. I wish that the person I spoke to on the phone weeks ago would have mentioned it since I highlighted that in the conversation. Any who was still a good meal and the server most definitely made it better with his wonderful humor, knowledge of the menu and ability to anticipate needs.
Beautiful restaurant, love the ambiance, the chandeliers and phenomenal service! I had the filet Oscar style, lavender martini and the crab cakes. Everything was fabulous, but then again you get what you pay for and I would expect no less from a place like this.Recommended dishesCrab Cakes
Superb service and food! We participated in the foodie tour and were able to sample steakhouse salad, NY Steak, fries, and FRIED OREOS! The steakhouse salad was perfectly mixed and had delicious dressing and toppings. Flavorful! The fries were hot crispy and fresh! The steak was made to order and juicy. The fried Oreos were worth the wait and was a great portion size! Our servers Margo and Louis! I appreciated the General Manager customer service and tentativeness to their patrons.
Reservations are a must. Came here with my gf and had such an amazing time. Dinner was delicious and service exceptional! The riesling was perfect. I highly recommend their sour sponge cake dessert, SO GOOD! Lovely decor in the dining area and lively environment. A perfect dinner date restaurant
Been here many times and recently had our team meal here and our out of town guests were blown way by the quality of the food. I got the Wagyu New York Strip and the sides were on point. Good service and good happy hour too.
My husband and I had an impromptu dining experience here while we were out at the casino. I really like the ease of making reservations online via the phone so that was super easy. I don't know if it was because our reservation was at 10 o'clock in the night, and they close at 11 o'clock that our food was subpar. I'm hoping that was the case and I am willing to go back and try it during more traditional dinner times. Everyone from the host to the team of waiters, three, I believe, were extremely welcoming and informative. They provided their recommendations on what we should get as a couple who had never dined at Hank’s before. As a result, we opted for the tomahawk Australian Wagyu cut that was served with some perfectly cooked potatoes and additional vegetables that were too hard to eat. This wagyu cut of beef was definitely not the business, it had a lot of fat, and was super meaty & chewy, not at all like the Japanese Wagyu. It lacked flavor as it was overpowered by the amount of fat it had on it, it literally glazed our tongues with a layer of grease...definitely not appetizing. We definitely fell in love with the king crab legs that were split, so all you had to do was take the top part of the shell off and dip them into with the waiter referred to as the "butter Jacuzzi" and enjoy. These were spectacular!! My husband enjoyed an old fashion that was served as they typically are, it had the perfect mixture, and was great while we waited for our entrée. I enjoyed some thing called the jasmine martini, which was also pretty decent. We were both feeling our drinks before the food came…so strength of the beverages was perfection to take the edge off of the day. As previously stated, we're not sure if our vegetables that accompanied our tomahawk were ill prepared because it was so late in the night, just an hour before their closing time, or what but we will definitely be back to enjoy those super thick and juicy crab legs and maybe try something else on the menu.
