Hannah Convenience Store

Hannah has everything and their long hours are great if I need to grab something late. The workers are extremely kind and always initiate conversation while checking out.

It’s fine. During the pandemic none of the employees wore masks. Just felt very insensitive and like they didn’t really care that much. Not very helpful staff either, always on their phone and distracted. It’s a shame because I had originally had a higher rating for this place but after seeing how uncaring and low standards they had for themselves during the pandemic I don’t think they need much of my business. If you can go to another store, do it! It will more than likely be cleaner, better stocked and with employees who don’t want to possibly pass on their gross colds or viruses to you LOL

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Help wanted sign on the door, went in there yesterday and asked for a job, the man told me to come in this afternoon to talk. I walked in this afternoon, asked about the job, and the woman behind the counter said “oh no we only hire boys to stock the shelves. After explaining to her how discriminatory and illegal that is, I walked in there with two 25lb weights and started lifting. She tried to threaten me with the cameras even though what she is doing is illegal. It is 2021, there is absolutely no reason businesses like this should still be in existence

The people leaving negative reviews don’t understand that this is a store aimed towards pleasing college students. They have good deals on everything in the store and a wide variety of products that are useful to people in their 20s. Also, the workers are always super friendly. It’s just a chill place so they do things like play music and will have the MSU basketball game on the tv screens, once again pleasing college students. If that bothers you than maybe you should go to rite aid. I have been going to this store for my needs for three years now and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I will drive the extra distance because that’s how much I love the vibe products and service.

Cashier wasn't wearing a mask and music was blasting like a club. Cashier was on his phone during the interaction. Costumers also not wearing masks. They had the St. Julian's wine I wanted though.

As far as convenience stores go, this place rocks if you live in the Hannah Lofts/Lodges of East Lansing area. The staff is always very friendly and the stock is as good as you could expect for a convenience store, with a couple of interesting niche items as well. Kegs are available, and every once in a while, there will companies testing the market with samples of their products that haven't gone totally public quite yet. All in all, no conplaints!

This place has beer, that's the only positive. Last time I went all the orange juices were expired. If the owners are working they will talk on the phone the entire time they are checking you out leaving you to guess when the transaction is complete.

This isn't a convenience store. It's a liquor store. 75% of the place is alcohol, the rest is just chips and candy. A partier's heaven but nothing special for somebody who needs something useful. Also, the guy who regularly works in the evening/nighttime who ignores costumers waiting at the register while he plays his computer game is extremely rude. Not sure why he still has a job.

Lots of variety for booze. Very little other supplies. Edit for covid: never seen an employee wear masks even when stocking shelves amongst customers. Also no enforcement of customers wearing masks.

Best convenience store in the world!!! I would highly recommend going here because the selection is amazing and the employees were treating me very well.
