Hano Henry Gentlemen's Barbershop

This place is amazing. Boys 2nd time, my first. A real barber shop!! The atmosphere is spot on for the feel as soon as walk in, music is awesome, staff is the best. Manny was excellent, haven't had my hair cut like this and what can I say. Yes, absolutely yes, we will be going there from now on. Support local buisness, especially this one. You guys ROCK!! Not to mention the chairs...you could fall asleep in them.

As a business owner and a life long worker in the hospitality industry I'm truly struggling with the idea of leaving a negative review for a business this would be the first time ever but after my strange and upsetting experience at Henry Hano, I felt I had to. This was my first time at this barbershop and I tried to enter through a door that was locked. I made my way to the next door - which was the actual entrance- and pulled on the vertical handlebar on the left side of the door which is a type of door handle intended to be pulled not pushed . It also didn't open. As I struggled to enter the barbershop all the barbers were just looking at me. As I thought to maybe look for a 3rd door, I tried the same door again and thought maybe it's a push door. It was in fact a push door. Sure maybe I could've gotten to that conclusion a little sooner, and I laughed that off, but I entered to the barbers just Mockingly glaring at me and laughing under there breaths. Nobody greeted me and I had to be the one to approach the employees who were still just judgmentally glaring at me to get any type of service. Even then I was given very mocking tones and rude responses to the fact that I was there for a hair appointment and the rest of my experience was no better. This may seem like a very small situation to get upset about but I truly felt so mistreated and unwelcomed by the way the staff responded to a little embarrassing mistake on my end. I don't think there's ever a case a paying customer should feel that way upon entering a business and in no case ever be made to feel stupid or laughed at. The owner was the only one to say something to me that had any resemblance of hospitality. My haircut was uncomfortable and average at best unfortunately. This barbershop was recommended to me by my brother in law and it is because I'm sure this place usually does a good job with their customers that I wanted to leave this review. Hopefully the staff can move forward with a little more professionalism and with an understanding not to make another customer feel the way they made me feel.Service: Haircut

Great experience here. They really took their time to do a nice cut and made sure it was exactly how my son wanted it. We loved the old barbershop feel with the music to go along with it, they are cash only as well. There was a little boy getting his hair cut at the same time, maybe 2yrs old, and the barber was so patient and friendly with him and the little guy got a wonderful cut. Would definitely recommend this place.
