It's a small park with a nice facility, with plenty amenities for the community. They have a small stage on the East side by the sledding hill where they play live music free of charge for anyone, all you need is a blanket or a lawn chair. They also have food trucks on site, by the stage for your convenience. You can go on their website for a complete entertainment line up. I just wish they would do something about the stagnant water and weeds right in front of the stage.
Was invited by members and residents to play Pickleball and to possibility join the community. Front desk bureaucrat told me members only. $150. Membership. “Ok can I check out your facility”. Perhaps pay a daily fee so I can try it out and see?” No. Members only. $150 to join. Right, I am paying 150 just to look around? “Members only” Walked out. Typical bureaucratic arrogance. Not even a way to bring in more people and build a community. They should have a daily try it out fee and hire a less obnoxious desk agent.
We had our indian dancing event there, a fundraiser l, Sewa, and it was a lot of fun!! I enjoyed it a lot. Also the hall was really cute and medium sized. I was surprised we all fit in there!
Great 1st annual deck the halls event. Keep up the great job with children's events.
I thought it was good. My wife didnt like the hill . I thought the band was good too. Really ....a nice place. RGS
Hanover Park Athletic Club has a great facility for tennis, pickle-ball, etc. Building is clean and well maintained. Staff is great and very friendly. A special shout out to Mary Lou who has a beautiful personality and goes out of her way to introduce people for tennis matches and other sports. Highly recommended.
Worst experience. They never update you with latest information on soccer league. You constantly have to keep calling them to receive any recent updates. No scheduling format once so ever.
Great place to have fun they have a lot of activities great location for Hanover Park also another way to do community service whenever you're in a bind
I called to rent a court on a rainy day. I have been just learning tennis and bought a very close family friend a racket for his 7th birthday. When we arrived, we couldn’t rent the court because it “appeared as if I was a tennis pro giving lessons” and that wasn’t allowed. I explained that I am FAR from a tennis trainer, I barely know how to play myself. The boys mother came in and explained this is a birthday gift and not a lesson, it was bad weather and he was excited to use his new racket. They said “my gear makes it look like it’s a lesson” because apparently having nice things makes you a tennis pro. I understand the rule but there needs to be checks and balances - so basically now I can never rent a court to play with my family friend and his little brother in the future. This situation was just horrible - but I do understand “rules” so I don’t fully blame the staff but what a horrible experience. They had no interest in listening to my story or understanding the situation, “rules were rules”. Just a horrible experience.
A nice big park. A play ground for kids.A cricket ground that local leagues hold tournaments.
