"Dr. Lee received his gastroenterology fellowship, as well as internal medicine internship and residency training, from the UCLA School of Medicine. He is a diplomate of both the American Board of Gastroenterology and American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to his expertise in digestive diseases and endoscopy/colonoscopy, he is trained in advanced pancreaticobiliary endoscopy, including endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP. While he works with oncologists and surgeons to conduct pre- and post-treatment evaluations, cancer prevention and screening remain a significant part of his practice. Hanson Lee's office is disorganized and unprofessional. I do not recommend. I can't even give this person one star but did only because it's needed to post this review. I called Hanson Lee's office in December 2022 or January 2023 to schedule an appointment. I was given the date of Tuesday, March 21, 2023. I called Lee's office on Friday, March 17th to confirm my appointment, since I hadn't heard back from his office. His receptionist said, "We were hoping you would call, we didn't have your number, Dr. Lee cancelled your appointment and needs to re-schedule". How is it his office doesn't have my number?? It's a standard operating procedure for a medical office to have a number on file. I told the receptionist I already asked for time off from work to which she replied, "this was going to be a virtual consultation". I was never told this during scheduling of the appointment. How does a doctor find in them to arrange a virtual appointment for an initial consult? It's beyond concerning how unprofessional and disorganized Hanson Lee's practice is. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there wasn't one on duty. Communication is beyond poor. My health and mental well being are important and it's disheartening to know Hanson Lee cannot appreciate or respect this. Skip this doctor if he's ever recommended to you.
I will leave another review as soon as I can get a hold of anyone at this facility. Not sure how they stay in business without being able to contact anyone. So I now understand how busy this office can be. It was a little frustrating in the beginning but once you are able to talk with someone they are very professional and attentive to your needs. Dr. Lee is a very generous with his time when he is explaining the process of the procedure along with giving good health advice. I will update my review after my actual procedure is completed.
I called several times to make doctor appointment, voice mail picked up, left message two times, no one return call. Finally someone answered and got my phone no, she promised me that she would call me back, still no one return call. Very disappointed, very bad customer service. If they do not like customers to call, please shut down the business.
This review is for my appointment with this doctor in last year, one hour long wait times, impatient with my conversation rushed the entire appointment and he told me that other patients are still waiting without letting my talk. Rude lady who works at front desk, tried to ask their accepted insurance, she got super crazy on me with yelling “ medical group is like your grandfather! Network is your father! “ this doctor didn’t talk anything about my procedure results after my egd. Called his office to make follow up appointment, no one picked up my phone. But glad I left this incompetent doctor
Dr. Lee is very patient and understanding with regards to your challenges. He's insures that before you leave his office there is clarity going forth, so as to better your health challenges.
Dr Lee and his office staff are very nice, they are professional and go above and beyond what is required. He listens and determine what is the best for the patient. I was lucky to have him. When I had the procedure, I felt sorry for the patients who had doctors that didn't explain what was needed.
Dr. Lee is one of the best medical specialists I've ever met. He's very patient and careful in diagnosing your disorders and prescribes the right medicines for treating your problems. I highly recommend him for any gastrointestinal issues.
Dr Lee is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and wonderful . My mother is his patient years ago and we still are thankful and appreciative !
Dr. Lee is the most wonderful GI doctor in town, he is kind and patience, of course very professional, I totally feels being taking care and comfortable under his treatment.
