I only put 1 star on the 1st part because I have to. We reserved our room online, we saw the photos of a beautiful room, a gorgeous pool, and thought this place will be perfect for our vacation. Boy, were we WRONG!! Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, looked like the photos. Everything was super outdated, ok, that's not the end of the world but all the bedrooms were upstairs and I don't mean a couple of stairs and nowhere on the description talked about or showed photos of stairs. I just had hip surgery, and we had our 4 month old Granddaughter with us, so if we had known about all the stairs, we wouldn't have rented it. It would take me all day to list everything, so I'll cut to the chase. I called the phone number of the "resort," which a man answered in HIS home. He said they transferred the calls to him on the weekend? Um, ok? I told him about the stairs and everything, and he said he would talk to someone, idk who, and try and get us a refund. We still haven't heard from anyone, so we are out of a lot of money and had to rent another place for 7 days. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. There are too many other very nice places for far cheaper!
Beds were the worst! They all need to be replaced. Hair samples in bathrooms when we arrived. Pool would not heat up. No water pressure... two showers can not run at the same time.Rooms: 2/5
The unit we stayed in at Berkley lake town homes was deplorable. It was dark and dingy. It was not clean. There were bed bugs on the beds and on the carpet. I had bites on my legs. There was a dead little lizard under the night stand. It was gross. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The manager Brandon was very nice to speak with and he offered us a credit however we never got that and whenever we try to contact him he hangs up on us. That is very poor service. I would never stay here again.
Wonderful accommodations!! Spacious, clean and has everything you would need. Weiss at the front desk was so helpful, friendly and just made our stay so pleasant and easy.. even when we kept extending with short notice. Everyone else at the front desk was very friendly and helpful as well! Really enjoyed our time here.. beautiful pool to relax at. Perfection for our family
These townhomes are tucked away in a nice, quiet location. We stayed for 4 nights and were so pleased with the amount of space we had. Having 2 1/2 bathrooms was so helpful for our family. We didn’t mind the outdated furniture or carpet, as we spent most of our time out and about anyway. These places have everything you need! The only issue we had were tiny ants everywhere. We would definitely stay again, though.
Nice location. Wouldn't find it unless you previously visited. Nice, quiet community. Love the warm pool. Loved how the issuance of keys and the unit info is given when you first arrive. The home was clean, very spacious as well, but the furniturewasout dated. The home came with majority of everything you would need. However, the carpet on the stairs needs to be redone as you can see the stains and warn out areas from previous traffic. There were tiny little ants all over the kitchen, dining area and laundry room.
Posting an honest review because the good reviews here fooled us. I would not recommend staying here. You need to fill out an authorization form and send pictures of your payment and ID info over email if you book through a third party Hotels.com since there are no staff on the premises to check you in pic of credit card only had to show last 4 digits of card, but still sketchy.. and unfortunately legitimate. We found this out while we were at the airport about to board which was less than ideal. Unit didn't come with basics - had to go to the store to buy more forks and hand soap none in unit and shower floor felt like it was going to cave in with how much sound it made with the lightest movement. Had to go to the airport early in AM and security guard was asleep so I had to get out of the car for them to open the gate, unit had small couch-sized pillows for all of the beds, and there were several cheap plastic blinds falling apart throughout the unit. "Fine" if you're on a budget and want space, but there are definitely better options in better locations. The manager, Brandon, was kind and let us check out late, but was unaware the pool was completely emptied and the strange check in process left us uneasy from the start.
My family booked a unit for the month of December, every single day, except Christmas day for a few hours there was construction or pressure washing the roofs and building from 8 in the morning until 8 at night. Not a minutes peace or quite during our stay. One the of the bedrooms leaked and soaked the carpet, it took them 2 days to address the issue and they only brought in a box fan. The room smelled funny and my daughter was coughing so we closed the room door and stopped using the room. Any issues brought forward the "manager" Brandon were met only with comments of " it's upper management." The pool was not cleaned, nor were the pool area garbage cans. Which were overflowing and stinking for days before they were emptied. Even worse the enclosure area with the dumpster inside was left open every day. The dumpster was full and the enclosuse area was scattered with garbage. All for the price of $3100. Great family vacation.
Terrible service, hardly found anyone un the reception, when we could finaly interact, the service was very unprofessional. Old furniture, very unconfortoble sofa, small TVs, slow internet, lack of infrastructure small pool and a small playground - wich they charge you USD 20/day regardless if you use it or not. Cleaning was horrible, we found a bunch of food under the bed.
3-4 bedroom condos. Decent swimming pools. Ground is well-maintained. Room size is on the small size, but adequate for a short stay. The kitchen has most essential stuff for a family to prepare a meal or two during the stay. Laundry room is handy, as the residents are responsible for their own towels and linen. We found our stay was pleasant. We felt safe the entire time. The staff was friendly and helpful. Service call, dead bolt lock was ajar, was handled promptly. The quiet hours were enforced, pool was shut down around 10:00 each night. Location could be better, as it is quite far from the attractions. But with its lower price point. You get what you pay.... We would consider staying here again if we head to Florida again.
