Happy Girl Kitchen creates many kinds of Preserves. In addition to the award-winning Apricot Chili Jam, we make jellies, marmalades, pickles, salsas, sauerkraut, kimchee, ketchup, juices and ciders. Happy Girl Kitchen also creates special “Limited Production” preserves. These small batch offerings are inspired by the best of the season’s harvest and Jordan’s bold imagination. Such micro batch creations sell out quickly so be sure to stop by our store or website regularly to see what yummy surprises Jordan has cooking!
Folks love our preserves and often ask how they too can learn to preserve food. Thrilled with the public interest, Happy Girl Kitchen offers hands-on Basic and Advanced Workshops to revive the art of home food preservation. We love sharing our expertise so that others have the confidence to do their own home canning. For those with experience, we now offer advanced technique workshops. It soon became clear that our new friends and fellow canners needed quality organic produce so Happy Girl Kitchen started The Food Preservationists. Since we know the farmers, we are able to provide seasonal fruits and vegetables at bulk prices. We offer a variety of organic boxes each week along with recipes for successful canning. Before we knew it, Happy Girl Kitchen had a community of fun folks interested in reviving great food traditions, coming to our whimsical parties and sharing tasty recipes and tips.
