Store is clean and merchandise neatly displayed. Lots of displays. You will generally find what you are looking for and at a great price but what they cut corners on is customer service. They are constantly offering discount coupons but beware, those offers are loaded with limitations, like excluding all Central Machinery branded merchandise. I do like that on the web you can at least get a rough idea of whether or not something is in stock in your particular store.
They sell lots of tools at very affordable prices. They are not top shelf quality, but they are certainly not garbage, and for the cost, they are a good deal. They also stand behind their products with a warranty that is no hassle... I have been trying to restock my nitrile glove supply for months, but for some reason, they can't keep up with demand. I guess people must be hoarding. Also, the shelf space is much smaller than it once was, so this is seemingly a contributing factor. I have been buying these gloves here for years now, but ever since the Covid-19 pandemic break out, I can't get them. Auto workers are considered essential, so it would be nice to get my hands on a box. I use them because of grease. For Covid-19, I have been using soap and water or hand sanitizer. C'mon man, get more gloves and stock them fuller more shelf space, like it used to be. Update 11/13/2020; After several months of frustration, I was finally able to buy a box of gloves... they only had the one box for triple the usual cost I was paying... Update 3/19/23; Looks like they finally got caught up with things. Stock has been replenished. The prices of the gloves are back down to Earth.
Went there today to look for wet/vac for a gift to a friend . Found a 6 gallon with strong motor on sale for only 49.99 plus tax .
I bought a fiber disk backer for a 4.5" grinder. All redesigned from the ones I have been buying for 40 years, turns out to be unusable, the provided " nut " for the fiber disk was to short to catch the threads , new design over complicated, twice the price, had to drive 20 min to return. Useless
Never had a problem with a tool bought here..I buy things I don't even need
Great tools at fair competitive prices.. sum things can be hit or miss .. but many MANY great gems bought here over the yrs..many things fixed/ accomplished around the house thx to harbor freight
Absolutely love this place. Such a great place to find those odd ball tools for a great price. Yes they might not be the best quality, but they still are decent for the price. Don't forget to use a free item coupon when you buy anything. I would recommend downloading the Harbor Freight app so you can see all the deals and always get that 20% off coupon.
one of the few places u can still goto for the little things u can't get in stores anymore bolts nuts pins tools u name it they got it and a good price I wouldn't buy power tools for work maybe good for home owners
