This place is an American treasure but their customer service on the phone could improve. also in a time of do-it-yourself solar energy - they don't offer solar panels, batteries or controllers. Huh?
I had never been to harbor freight before, but one of my friends recommended them. I needed something to keep the screws in a door latch with rotted wood; when I called, the guy knew exactly what I needed! When I got to the store a plus is that they are open a lot later than most hardware stores, I was greeted, and assisted in finding exactly what I needed. Highly recommended! This staff really knows their stuff!
Gotta a reciprocal saw on sale... It works pretty good. Also bought a fly swatter and next time going back to get some smaller solar panals. The machines weren't working right and the credit card machine wasn't taking credit cards and it took over 20 minutes just to pay last time.
I love to walk around and imagine that I know what all those different tools are for. Last time I was there I found a 200 lumen usb rechargeable "penlight" 2.5 hrs charging for 11 hrs of use I love innovative tools....
In all fairness it should be called China Freight. It has a wide variety of tools, 100% Chinese. If you want quality tools, you should search out American Made.
Good location. Good parking. Had a long line of customers any only two checkers. Always frustrating when there are many other registers that aren't used and you're waiting in line for eons to get service. Prices are good and appreciate a store here.
Excellent tool supply store, great variety and selection of what a handy family man would need at very reasonable price.
Regular harbor freight, tucked in a small space but having exactly what I needed!
Sometimes you want quality stuff & sometimes you just need cheap disposable tools. Can't beat the prices but the 20% off coupons are getting harder to come by
Good for loves and easy if in a hurry or doing a repair that one time. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommend. Im a frequent flier.
