I paid for washing my laundry for some one else. I put 4 shirts in the machine at the harbour front Laundromat today. Wednesday at 2 in the afternoon. Closed the lid and hit start. I stayed for 10 minutes then stepped outside for a smoke. When I returned the machine was empty. I told the lady that works there. She said she has never seen that happen before. Although...... after looking around the place with somewhat questionable clientele; I would question her legitimacy of her claim. I would have to agree with her on one thing. I have never had my clothes stolen out of a Laundromat in broad daylight while they were still wet. Actually, I have never had my dirty, wet or dry laundry taken from me at a Laundromat, ever! Idk.....I guess I have nice stuff. If you are a darring person and don't mind sitting on top of the machine until you can secure your items for the next machine,,,,,,,, this place is for you. Lock your car doors unless you need your vehicle cleaned out as well.
If you want to be gaslit into into thinking your dry cleaning has been cleaned then this is the place for you. I brought in a suit and a bridesmaid dress for dry cleaning. not only were they not cleaned in the slightest, the owner tried to tell me that it was my fault for not pointing things out that needed extra attention, I would think when paying $70 that they would take the time to make sure things are actually cleaned. The owner then said that he would be willing to re-dry clean it and fix the mistakes which I was thinking would be the solution to my problem, but then he continue to say that more than likely it’ll make the stains they missed worse. At that point I said that I wasn’t comfortable with him trying to re-dry clean anything and that I would prefer a refund so that I can go elsewhere to get it properly done, to which he got angry, and said that there would be no refund given. I don’t think a refund seems out of the question when the service was not completed and he has confirmed that he isn’t able to fix the problem. Horrible customer service. Save yourself time and money and go somewhere anywhere else
laundry detergent compartments need to be cleaned better..some pple r allergic to detergents & they r always clogged & then ends up in wash! not cool! also machines have issues accepting coins & owners acts like its my fault "let me show u how to properly put a coin in" EXCUSE ME!!
The owners were very very rude immediately upon opening the door. Just came yelling no. If you are looking for a welcoming environment this is not your place.
I may develop a likeness for this place in time. My first impression is that the machines are clean and relatively quiet. The social aspect was most meaningful. I would never have learned how to take care of myself had I simply taken orders from the employee working at that time. I actually learned how to do my laundry by paying attention to a couple of university students who came in after me. Hopefully next week is easier and more enjoyable
UPDATED REVIEW: After viewing the hours on Google, I excitedly went to do my laundry Friday evening. I have social anxiety and other ill effects that I don't tend to look up or around me much when I'm out in public. I did NOT notice the sign by the door stating the new hours being only open til 8pm - yet that same sign states "last wash 7pm" which in EVERY OTHER LANDROMAT implies a 2 hour window, commencing at 7pm, to complete said final wash the wash and maximum drying time equating this 2 hr window. This would make sense and match the Google hours of being open til 9:30pm. When I had just switched everything to the dryers, paid and was on my way back to my car, it had just turned 8pm and a couple was exiting. The lady mentioned to me the door was locking - I asked why so early? She stated RECENTLY the hours had changed to 8pm closure. In a full blown panic, I called the owner to explain the situation and that I had made a grievous error and that my dryers would not be complete until 9pm. I have never ever been so insulted, spoken down to and treated poorly by a business owner in my life. He threatened me with the police a few times before letting me have 30 minutes and then I'd be charged by the police. I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN. Though I had made an error, I was trying to be honest and ask kindly for an extension. The doors automatically lock behind you, so it really would be no skin off anyone's nose.. but apparently I'm going to vandalize the place and mistreat it. I left without compensation for the remaining money/time I had put into the 5 machines. INITIAL REVIEW EARLY 2022-2023 - Great bang for your buck. Friendly helpful staff. Working change machine. Efficient washers in 3 sizes and plenty of dryers for all to use. Very happy and will return.

The staff are extremely nice and helpful. I was able to get change from the dry cleaning counter. The have a full range of washer sizes forvarious prices. I found the laundromat to be very clean too.
Cleanest laundromat in town, hands down. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Machines are always in good repair. My washer broke in March and I haven’t even bothered to replace it yet, as it’s been convenient to do everything there!
I would give a 0 star rating if i could. Drove 40 minutes for the wash dry fold service, was there before 10 am and the attendant rudely turned us away and told us we had to do it ourselves because some resort called in with a big order. Terrible customer service.
