Hard-Rock Materials

I'm a concrete and masonry contractor in NEFL. I had been a customer of this company for 15 years. I would occasionally get bad service. But for the last 18 months, their scheduling has been nothing but a series of lies that cost me thousands of dollars. They over book and under perform. It's all fueled by greed at the expense of hard working individuals. Do not patronize this company. Trust me, its just not worth it....

Our contractor used this company for a patio extension at our home. There is no way I could honestly tell anyone to use this company. When the driver was finished and our contractor was in our backyard the driver cleaned his truckthe left over cementout in our front yard and left a huge mess. Killing our grass and our contractor and my husband took days trying to clean up. I contacted the company by phone and e-mail, never replied back, period. So now we have sod to replace after spending days cleaning up 2" and 4" of cement. I guess the driver was not smart enough to take it back to the company and do the cleaning there. I've never experienced such ineptness. 1st photo is when he dumped it, 2nd photo is following days of trying to break it up

If you have time and money to waste this is your place! First, I ordered 9 yards of concrete for a driveway, they were one hour and a half late. I understood things happen gave them another try the follow week. We ordered 10 yards of concrete and we needed to reserve a pump. Pump gets to our home as scheduled and hard rock materials calls me while my pump is already waiting and says they’re running an hour behind. Pump is charging $100 an hour while sitting. 3pm rolls around and this time, I call them. Hard Rock Materials says, they’re late again. They will show up at 5pm. My appointment was at 2pm to being with. I decided to cancel everything. Within minutes manager calls me and says, I’ll fit you in at 4pm. I spent $200 extra on the pump waiting on hard rock materials to deliver the concrete. Save yourself the headache, time and money, go somewhere else.

Service was great. Appreciated the timeliness at which they were able to deliver 3 extra yards in the middle of the pour.

Was told they would be at a job at 2:30 two miles from the plant, still a no show at almost 4pm straight up lies

Love hard rock best concrete around people always talk down from what I’ve heard but I know from experience best concrete around best prices !

HORRIBLE!!! STAY AWAY!!!! THese people sell an inferior product and REFUSE to own up to it!!!! NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN will I use these people!
