Absolutely the best health department I have ever been to. I moved here from Florida and was having trouble getting my daughter's vaccinations changed over. I called this office multiple times and every single time, anyone that answered was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. When we went in for our appointment, my daughter's prior doctor's office had still dropped the ball, and the two ladies in the office Marie and one other worked with me until everything was resolved. Great staff, clean waiting room, and just an all around great experience.
Jacob did a great job executing the std screening and was very knowledgeable about the whole process and was even training another doctor during my visit! I would recommend to family and friends. Thanks for the great experience!
Everyone we dealt with was amazing! Jessica was the sweetest person and made sure to explain everything completely! She went above and beyond! She even printed out and highlighted relevant info to answer all of our questions. Pam was amazing and so nice!
I’ve had to call a couple times as I’ve recently moved to Hardin county from Jefferson and needed help with WIC. Janet was who I spoke to both times and both times she was incredibly disrespectful and rude, she spoke down to me and refused to help me. Based off my experience and the reviews I see, I’d avoid this place at all cost. Messed up that we’re supposed to trust our health and the health of our children in such disrespectful individuals.
Pam, should be fired. Not a very friendly receptionist, not well educated about her services, and not willing to help. This lady has some real issues. For families who have no health insurance we have no where to look to for help but here so I thought. She degraded me for not having insurance and she degraded my asking for help with a newborn about vaccinations. I will be driving to Greyson county for all help from now on through health department services, they had more knowledge and willingness to help. If you are Pam’s employer please contact me.
You guys must have the intelligence of a banana. Instead of thinking up some smart way to deal with a situation, you escalate and order them to wear trackers. Now that it's all over the news, you think your residents are gonna go get tested? No! Absolutely not. Brilliant! So they could even be spreading it, but we'll never know. Great job.
We receive WIC and I was very nervous about starting because of these reviews. I, however, was pleasantly surprised at how courteous, kind, helpful and patient they have been with me over the last 6 month . I have had NOTHING but a positive experience.
These individuals think they came make up laws as they go along and that they are above existing laws. I can’t believe they had the audacity to have an asymptomatic young lady sign an agreement stating she would call and notify them if she was going to leave her house. After she refused to play along with their house arrest game they decided to make it official and take the matter to a judge and lie and say she had refused to self-quarantine thus placing her on actual house arrest. I too will refuse to sign anything this corrupt agency brings before me to sign.
Would give 0 stars if I could. Called to ask a simple question about my appointment. It took long enough for someone to answer the phone in the first place. Donna finally answered and was extremely rude from the moment she answered the phone. She kept interrupting me and wouldn't give me two seconds to even state the name that the appointment was under.
Have made getting all 3 doses of the vaccine super easy. Didn’t even have to get out of my car. Major props to them!
