I had a good experience here. I was passing through and I needed a cheap guitar to purchase, since I will not bring a guitar on an airplane. The staff was knowledgeable, experienced, and set me up. I do wish they had a little better inventory, but I was able to find a nice guitar for a nice price. I would highly recommend this music store. Great people!

I wish I didn't have to drive to La Crosse on Saturday morning to get strings!! Support your locally-owned, independent music store! New and used instruments, gear, plus rental, lessons, books and all the incidentals. Nice folks, too.

Great selection of guitar accessories. The instrument selection is meant for students and beginners but their repair service and expertise is valuable. Good shop if you're local and need repairs, set ups, or a few odds and ends.

I come here for all my guitar and sound needs. Steve is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about anything music. On top of that, he treats your instrument as his own. Amazing store, amazing people.

Rented a sound system for an outdoor concert. Cathy was knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. She even provided a phone # to call if we had questions on the day of the event which was a Sunday. The rent was reasonable and it all worked out great. Would definitely recommend!!

It's what you expect of the sole music shop in a medium size town. They were not able to help me with my guitar, but that was simply that they were not familiar with the brand. For kids with various instruments from violin to drums to tubas, I'm sure it's the place to go. For guitar, I would recommend heading south 20 minutes to Dave's Guitar shop.

I always enjoy stoping in to buy guitar supplies. Stopped by the store and looked over the guitars played a few to get an idea for a new one. Some are on my return list to try again. I am being very logical to be sure I buy the one I want. I have had my current Martin for 30 years. I am expecting the new one to last me till I am gone.

Nobody go to Hardts music for your musical needs. Bad customer service. I brought some guitars in to get a price check on them and they said Tuesday they would be ready by. Went in Wednesday and they weren't ready they said come back in a couple of hours. Came back still wasn't ready. Took till today when I called them and they said they weren't interested at all. Never going back there.

Staff was wonderful & answered all of our percussion questions.
