Harleysville Savings

I absolutely LOVE this bank. I have had this bank since I was a kid, and the staff have been nothing but professional and helpful. The rates are great, you can do everything you need from your online account, and you can ALWAYS get in touch with someone. Specifically just today I had a great experience, but they shared since the bank is so small, I couldn't leave a review or customer satisfaction statement, so I am hoping that this will suffice!

This is an update to an earlier review. Over the past year, dozens of legitimate transactions have been flagged, including Venmo and Lyft, and even my web host, exactly when I needed them most. Because this bank has a horrendous track record with security, they have decided that the easiest way to deal with the threat is restrict all of the most most common transactions. They’re response, is “well, you can link these transactions directly to your bank account”. Let’s think about that…if a transaction is fraudulent, why would I want it Linked directly to my account? I hope others who have experienced this abysmal level of security will also post here. As for me, my days at this bank are numbered.

Surprised to see any negative reviews of Harleysville. It's a great local bank where the bank actually knows you. Great benefits for such a small bank, and I've never had a problem with any of the service I've received from them. Not particularly surprised that the negative reviews for the bank are from users with now other published reviews, or from anonymous users with no feedback.

Nice local bank. The tellers are friendly and helpful. One very great feature of this bank lobby is the change sorting machine. You can exchange your coins for cash with no 12 percent hit like a coin star machine. Will visit again

Great Bank with Friendly People. Their account offerings are all common sense, easy to understand products. Multiple no fee options even for small account holders. Excellent Service, Team members are always prompt and willing to assist.

There friendly, and it gives you a small town feel. BUT that's small town service to. 24 hour phone banking is a joke, call there any night of the week and get a machine that can't do anything for you. If it's not during normal business hours your outta luck. No , no contact payment options with watchs, phones or cards. So if banking like it's 1950 is what you want there perfect for you. I also don't like being asked by workers what I'm gonna spend my money on and having to get approval from a manager to get my money in cash. I'm an adult, and you are not my Master.

They worse bank EVER Very inconsistent. Mobile app sucks and there employees are not trained on helping with problems on they app. Customer service is better at McDonald’s than this bank. Go with they bigger bank they will not be around much longer.

An exaggerated greeting when entering, does not qualify as good customer service. I almost left here during the lockdown because of poor support, and now something is going on with card transactions. No after hours support at all. Run fast, run far, as I plan to

Every interaction with Ruta has been positive and quick! She is an excellent teller with Bank knowledge and the desire to help the customer in every way possible. I look for her every time I use the Harleysville lobby!
