I attended a service this past weekend. It’s was a beautiful service. However, towards the end the staff were being very unprofessional and unsympathetic and were making jokes as they were close up the service. A few of the family members noticed their actions and were unhappy with the lack of sympathy towards our grief.
If I could give zero stars I would. This Funeral Home is absolute most HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place and they should be closed down for their bad service. When we arrived to dress our loved one she was not in the casket we had to wait over 2 hrs for them to call someone put her in so we can fix her up and while waiting no staff apologized and gave no empathy no one is at the front door to greet you it was a very lonely feeling for a grieving family to have to go through and everything was delayed. Stay away, u will regret it if you don’t they may be the cheapest out here but horrible service
This company is first off one of the most disrespectful funeral homes I have ever been to. My Aunt Gloria's wake was in a room with 3 other bodies and in the main chapel another body. There was 5 families in this small location with no parking. A complete failure and no respect for the dead. My aunt was placed in the corner of a small room where other people came to see their departed. No need to talk about the funeral that they did the following day. And the burial for my aunt was today and we didn't even put her in the ground. I don't care who didn't show up. I care about how my cousin was treated and how business was done for her momma. This company is a waste of money, a waste of space and has absolutely NO REASON TO BE A FUNERAL HOME! YOU GUYS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF AND EMBARRASSED FOR THE TRASH BUSINESS YOU CONDUCTED! I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE FELT SO HEART BROKEN ON HOW MY AUNTS HOMECOMING WENT. IM HAPPY SHE COULD NOT WITNESS THIS ATROCITY!
A dying friend spent countless hours looking for a funeral home she could afford cremation service arrangements at. Knowing her economic situation, I called Harmon Funeral home and Explained to them the sad situation my friend was in. They gave her a very affordable price she could not find anywhere else. This afternoon I just picked up the ashes from the funeral home to be turned over to the family. Communication through the whole process was the best part. There wasn't a single time they didn't answer the phone. Thank you Harmon Funeral. Thank you so much. God Bless.
This was the worse experience I have ever had. These folks money hungry they had my family member in the chapel room with 3 other people 3 different family’s. That was something they should had disclosed prior not 30 minutes before this funeral home was a complete circus. Harmons definitely bite off more then then could chew. However my family member in bombardment started to leak fluid. The wax makeup looked so horrible. The Casket did not arrive until 1 hour before so they gave us no time. I think if you decide to allow them to do the funeral you better know what your getting yourself into.I would add photos however I am ashamed of the outcome.
My dear friends went to this funeral home for their daughter and sister they lost. The director would not return their call and when they would get in touch they were given horrible customer service. They ended up having to have their loved one transferred to another funeral home. Noone should have to go through this twice because the first funeral home would not and did not do their job. You already have a family dealing with an incredible amount of pain. Shame on this company and director for taking advantage of this family. Do not give them your money or you will be paying for service twice.
I wouldn’t recommend this funeral home if it was the only one standing. My in laws family was treated poorly and wasn’t taken care of as should be. Everything was rushed and not sincere. Two months after my in laws death there’s still issues about money being paid out to another funeral home, the wrong amount of death certificates were ordered. Harmon funeral home was 30 mins late to start my in laws service. Their attitudes and customer service were by far the worse especially at a time like that. It took them forever to get his cremations. Definitely will never rely on this funeral home AGAIN. By far the biggest mistake my in laws family made to trust in burying their son. They never return your calls and every time you need to speak to John Harmon he’s “in a meeting” I mean every time you call. They rushed us to say our goodbyes at the time of his funeral because they said his body was to cold and needed to stay out of direct sunlight.
Despite our reservations from the precious reviews, we entrusted this funeral home with our family member. They were flexible and went above our expectations. I believe they have taken precious criticisms to heart and Improved their craft.
The funeral home here has disgusting customer service. A dear family of mine got in contact with them over a loved ones passing and this place here took the money and refused to answer any calls of the family. Didn’t not want to refund nor release the body to the family. No family should ever have to go through this nightmare. Please no dont hire these people!!! Eventually they had their loved one transferred but no refund and still horrible customer service to the new funeral home director. Stay away!
Do Not Use This Place!!! No other grievieng family should have to endure what he has put our family through. My sister passed away on 1/13/21. Our Mom and I contacted Harmon Funeral Home on 1/14/21 paid him for direct cremation in the amount of 800.00 that same day. We informed him we were raising money to do a Memorial Service for her and would let him know as soon as we had it. My mom called him Sunday 1/17/21 to make the service arrangements John Harmon answered and said he was busy and would call her back . Monday 1/18/21 came and went no call back. She called again Tuesday 1/19/21 he said hed meet us at 9am Wednesday 1/20/21 11am Wednesday morning no call no show I called him he said he had a death call and was finishing up with them and heading to us hours go by no call no show still. We lost all faith in his word and contacted another Funeral Home to transfer her there. Thursday 1/21/21 they began trying to contact him to arrange the transfer finally got him Friday 1/22/21 and found out he has done nothing she is still there. When he told us she would be going straight to the place of cremation.. 1/22/21 he called us yelling and being down right unprofessional and rude as can be about wanting a transfer to another funeral home and mocking us that its going to cost us that he will not be refunding any funds at all. The new funeral home tried to talk with him to come up with a solution and handle the transfer and he was completely rude and nasty with her. Stated to her that he didnt call us back because there was nothing to talk about and his appearance cost money .. of which he never informed us there was a fee for and didnt matter he said hed call never called said he would be here never showed. No where on the paperwork does it state that its non refundable and he has not with held the agreement nor treated us with an ounce of what he should treat a grieving family during this process. When the new funeral home was there for the transfer he gave them a hard time they had to call us to tell us he wants us to call him to release my sister to him and we had to immediately or he was going to make them leave when he already knew thats what we wanted he called us yelling about it already and we told him exactly how and why we felt it needed to be done.
